They all stopped talking at once. Megan had franticaly climbed down to see what it was. But when the second her feet hit the ground it stopped. There was an eary silence among the girls and the forest. After standing for several minutes in complete silence, all the girls climbed down and went to Taylor's house for dinner.

Chapter Two
The next morning was a beautiful sunny Saturday. The girls got up, ate breakfast, and got dressed. They had a debate weather to go back that day or not. But regardless of what happened they decided to go back and hang out for a little while. After about thirty minutes the girls heard the same sound as they did the day before that. This time all the girls stayed up. In silence the girls all climbed down and waited. Waited for some sign of it to be safe to move anymore. Seconds later there it was again. The growling that sounded to be that of a wolfs. They stood for several more seconds in silence and then they took off, running towrds the house. As they were half a mile out of the woods they stopped. Something was blocking their path.

They still couldnt quite figure out what it was. it seemed to be an over sized wolfe or maybe a mutant dog. Whatever it was held one of Lexi's shoes in its right hand. A trail of blood followd behind it. Minutes after standing staring at each other, it ran off. Off into what seemed to be the neverending woods. It had mummys on the walls and ceiling of the cave. They thought they were soon going to be

She was still breathing but had a deep wound on her left arm. Running over to her they had discovered something very disturbing. next. Taylor's father quickly but gently threw Lexi over his shoulder and got them all out of the cave before it came back.

Chapter Six
Just as the last person was out of the cave it came running towards them. As fast as they could they took off running. They ran three miles with it still behind them as they reached the house. Struggling to get the door open they glanced back to see it had stopped at the edge of the forest. Just getting the door open they ran to get the car keys. They went quickly out of the door to the car and on their way to hospital. Upon their arrival, peramedics were standing outside chatting for their break. They helped get Lexi out of the car and into the hospital.

Chapter Seven
After several hours pacing in the waiting room, Megan, Taylor, Michelle, Taylor's mom, and Frank, Taylor's dad, heard the doors open and the doctor came out. Frank walked slowly to the doctor and asked if Lexi was okay. The doctor had smiled and said she was going to be fine. She had twenty-one stiches and would have to stay for a couple of days. As Frank was walking away he heard the doctor ask,"What was it?" He slowly turned around and said,"we don't know" and walked out of the hospital doors to where none of us know.

Chapter Eight
We didn't see Frank until several hours later when they said we could go back to see Lexi. We all walked down to her room and said hello and gave her the gifts we had bought for her. She smiled as we walked in and sat down. We asked how she felt and she said she was fine but what was bugging her the most is not knowing what had taken her. Trying to think she looked at Taylor and Megan with a the strangest look she had ever given anyone. Days later after Lexi was released from the hospital all three girls walked down to the cave were it had kept Lexi. Jumping down they had saw something that was looked to be the thing that had gotten hold of Lexi. It was laying on the cold hard ground. Not moving nor breathing. The girls slowly, holding on to one another, walked over beside it. It had a shot wound right where its heart would be. Wanting to be sure, they checked his breathing, still nothing. Now that it was dead and couldn't hurt anyone else, they started roaming around the cave looking for something to at least give them a clue of what it was. Walking further and further they finally came to a room. It had nothing but a few blankets and a book. Megan picked up the book and read the cover. "Wolfbear to human". Puzzled they opened it and read the first page noticing a piture hiden between pages. They took it out and looked to see what it was of. It looked like an old scientist that went to their school when he was a young boy. On the back was his name "Dr. Drake Franklin". They took the book and ran home to the computer. They researched the name and to their surprise they were right. It read, "Dr. Drake Franklin had been working on an experiment when something went wrong. His entire lab had blown up and he had waken up to find himself in the body of a woflbear. A wolfbear was an ancient animal that lived in the 1300's. Dr. Drake had went to Battle Creek High School when this had happened and only one person had known of this, his mother Sarah Franklin." Finding this out they ran to get the parents and show them. To their releif he was dead but the question still hauting them today is who killed him?
