George runs towards the victim with a rug a little wet and starts wipping her face off. Yes, he still can run. Slowly, the forms of an inner lesion is outlined, the girl’s face turning a darker and darker purple as George was wipping the makeup off, like digging for Atlantis. After wipping a generous part of her face, he stops for a second and looks at her with a look somewhere between perplexity and ecstasy. He turns then towards us and says:
-She was asphyxiated by the murderer. She does not seem to have any other mark of violence though… all I can say for sure right now is that it took awhile until she died. You wouldn’t wished to be in her place, I assure you… Nobody to touch the body until the autopsy.
***
The body got secured and easily raised when a powerful booming is heard inside the room and some containers schematically placed and hidden under the floor inside the room start to eliminate some sort of toxic gaze. The next few moments, there where kicks and shoves all over and swearing between colleagues until the embarking of the dead body into the assigned car for that specific case and, implicit, the evacuation of the building itself. Tommy, as a real team leader got up into the car being followed by Margret in her own car and went to the lab as it was the safest thing to do at this time.
Margret’s Volkswagen was rushing on the streets behind the truck with the corpse in it, ready for the autopsy. They were heading for the headquarters.
In the middle of the town, there was a great, beautiful building. And behind this building, basically in her cesspool there was the little headquarters at the size of a garage. That was the main department and the pride of the whole institute. They were getting closer to the place and Tommy pulls his head out of the window along with a remote. He presses the button and the garage’s door gets opened. Yes, the headquarters of the size of a garage had his own garage, surprisingly. The car didn’t fit in the smaller garage so they had to grab the body on a handbarrow and sneak inside the narrow space.
Get in, quickly, yells Tommy.Margret gets off her car, locks it and runs to the inside of the garage, now even narrower. As soon as they get in, Tommy strikes a red big circular button, somewhere on their right. Slowly, the door of the garage closes, allowing the garage to suddenly seal itself and turn into some kind of metal box soundproofed. The floor comes undone like a platform and starts descending. It was like an elevator. The floor was going down faster and faster with them until it hit a critic point and a powerful crash at the floors level was heard but yet not felt. Or maybe the floor was just too thick and the impact had no effect on them.
They both get off of the tight platform together with the handbarrow which accompanied them. At the exit of the wannabe elevator there was a hall as narrow as the elevator they were in, or maybe even narrower, where there was a closed shut door and an attempt of a landline whose cable was hanging nearly to the ground. Tommy fastened to the phone and formed some number, then put the receiver back into its fork. Suddenly, from the right upside corner, a speaker with the size of a tea bag emitted a strong, yet soft sound like a woman’s voice which was saying: “Alert sensed. Doctor Matthews is now inviting you inside.”.
A second after the mechanical, yet suave voice finished her speech, the door before them opened with grand pomposity (and, implicit, noise) and the two of them got inside on the hall that was standing before them, letting the novice that assisted them all the way there and they didn’t quite notice until then, to push the handbarrow to the morgue.
