Isolation is an understatement. There is so much more to it. It's not just being alone--it's being alone for months. for days. For your entire life.
Seventeen year old Cori grew up, with the gut feeling that her life would end in a car crash. She finds that her gut feeling was always right.
In August of 2014, a deadly disease decimated the world's population. Those that survived called it the end of the world, arriving two years later than the Mayans had predicted. The survivors were left to fend for themselves, scavenging for food and supplies and raiding homes and businesses for their basic needs. Among the survivors are Jayden and Asher, whose efforts to find supplies are more successful gathering new members for their camp than canned goods.
My project in my 8th grade English class about the Massacre at My Lai during the Vietnam War, and received a perfect score. It was a true tragedy and a huge mistake on the American's part. Enjoy.
