When Lily passes away, Sam is lost. She doesn't know how to live without her best friend. Lily helped Sam through all the screwed up things in her life. Especially when her dad died of cancer and her mom became an alcoholic. Sam even considers suicide so she can be with Lily. When she tries to attempt it, however, she meets Logan.
