This is an assignment that I had to do for English at school this year it isn't finished yet but I will be finishing it soon. So for this assignment I had to add a short story to apart of the book we had to read. The book was 'Boy's of Blood and Bone' by David Metzenthen. I chose the character Frances-Jane from the book and done a short story from her point of view when she is trying to write a letter to Andy a guy she met saying she is pregnant and he is the father. The book Boy's of blood and bone is set back in world war 1; so basically Frances-Jane is trying to tell Andy he is going to be a father soon when he is at war and they are not together and he is engaged to another lady. Back then you would put your family to shame if you got pregnant out of wedlock so that is why I chose to go from her point of view when she is trying to explain that she is pregnant to a man she doesn't know anything about and is getting married.
Due to bankruptcy of the genre Eftos started 2009 to write his own sci-fi saga.
Unlike the competition, Eftos intentionally uses no voodoo like time machines, beings of light or other rubbish.
These facts led to the original creation of the
Tunnel Sci-Fi Trilogy (Eftos-Epos) Kingdom of a thousand
This trilogy is a science-fiction saga consisting of the following original books:
(I) Kingdom of a thousand
(II) Halfworld
(III) The last crisis
It tells the adventures of three friends: Prince Henley to Westerburg, Patchara Petch-a-boon and Svinenysh Galactic.
The story takes place 213, 216 & 219 NET mediantime in the Kingdom of a thousand.
Each book consists of the adventures of the children, embedded in a futuristic sci-fi world of old.
That is the reason why each book comes as youth- and adultedition.
Certain sci-fi details are mentioned only in the books of man.
Kingdom of a thousand characters, names, places, technologies & indicia are original © & ™ Eftos Ent. All rights reserved.
“Kagenemaru, approach, my daughter.” Father stated calmly, sensing my presence. I approached calmly, but slowly, inside the candlelit room. My father, larger than me by some considerable amount of distance, knelt in the center of the room. I knelt before him, asking why I am here with my eyes.
“Kagenemaru, my daughter, as you know, your elder siblings were great warriors, those who chose to give their lives to allow one to live, to face Naraku honorably and die honorably. You are here because you are my youngest child, my last warrior.” Father, not opening his eyes, spoke calmly. I shot him a very curious look unto his eyes.
“Yes, I understand that, father, but why have you called me into your presence tonight?” I asked.
“I asked you here, my child, because you are ready.”
This is a short poem/poetry. I mean real short. Anyways, this was created to introduce another side of fire. Most poetry/poems base fire of of desire, but I thought what if I wrote something that based off of fire trying to love the water. We all know the chance of that is kinda zero, but it's really heart touching. Enjoy!
