The Crows
A few years ago my cat died in my living room. I cried so much. To console myself, I went to the kitchen, making coffee. I am a romance author and coffee is always a good idea for me.
There is a tree in front of my living room window. I love watching the squirrels, but crows want to catch them there occasionally. That’s why I chase away the crows every time I see them. While I was making my coffee and sobbing in my handkerchief, I heard the rough screeches from crows. I ran to the balcony to chase the two crows away. Oh, oh - they looked at me with knowing eyes. It seemed me, that they asked me: “You don`t want, that we pick up the soul from your beloved cat?”
I walked slowly and cautiously back into my apartment, not to disturb the crows at their work as soul companions for my sweetheart Blueberry.
It is a true story!
