Your handbag or purse should complement your body type.
Most women are unable to leave the house without carrying a purse or handbag.
After all, dragging spare change, a cell phone, a compact, a comb, a lipstick, keys, a bottle of perfume, reading material, and everything else that ladies can't leave house without is a lot easier with a purse.
Women who carry a pocketbook or handbag avoid having filled and bulky pockets, if they have any at all.
However, as useful as a handbag is for carrying our belongings, many women overlook the fact that a handbag or purse is a fashion element. As a fashion accessory, it should complement the rest of the ensemble.
But, more importantly, while selecting a pocketbook or handbag to complement your ensemble, you should select one that complements your body type. You may not realize it, but when someone looks at you, the first thing they are likely to notice about your clothing is your handbag. Depending on the type of purse you're carrying, you can be bringing attention to contours on your body that you'd rather not be highlighted.
It's all about striking the right balance. Your purse, like every other piece of clothing or accessory on your person, should balance your figure. It should conceal what you want to conceal while emphasizing what you want to stress.
Large handbags go with generously padded bodies, while little purses go with smaller bodies, according to one of the rules to follow when choosing a purse to match your clothing. The type of purse you should use if you are petite is small. If you're a plus-size woman, larger handbags are the way to go. That is one of the fundamental principles to follow when purchasing a handbag.
So, what kind of purse should you wear with which curves? Following the size rule when it comes to handbags, if you are short and have a slim frame, you should go for a compact handbag that you can carry near to your body. You should never get a large purse because you will drown in it. When you carry a large purse and your body is little, it appears as though the purse is carrying you rather than the other way around.
If you're tall and lanky with few curves, your goal is to give the illusion of a curvaceous form while concealing your body's straight leanness. Wearing a medium-sized purse with a long shoulder strap that allows you to keep the purse close to your waist will help you achieve this. Holding the purse against your waist creates the illusion of a slim waist that softly descends to your hips.
If your hips are wide and heavy, you'll want a purse that will attract attention away from your lower body and hips. The ideal handbag for you is one that has a shoulder strap that allows the purse to hang just above your hips. Anyone looking at you will be drawn to your upper body rather than your hips as a result of this.
Girls with disproportionately large upper bodies, on the other hand, would wish to draw attention away from their upper bodies. If you have a top-heavy body, you'll want a purse with long straps that you can carry close to your hips. To balance out your top-heavy frame, invest in a large purse.
If you have a plus-size physique, you should never carry a little purse. As previously said, carrying a little pocketbook will draw attention to your size. Always choose a large handbag to give your shape a balanced appearance.
You are to be envied if you have the perfect hourglass body, with your bust line in proportion to your hips and a defined waist. You can bring almost any type of purse or handbag with you. But, on the other hand, you should still be aware of how your pocketbook balances off your figure. Always choose a purse that is the perfect size for your body. So, if you're short and skinny, a compact bag is the way to go. A large bag can work for you if you are tall and curvaceous.
Always keep in mind that your handbag or purse is a fashion item. To balance out your figure, you should put in the effort.

Taking a Trip in Style
I decided a few months ago that I was far overdue for a nice vacation.
It had been five years since I had been away for any amount of time.
My parents generously financed me to go on a European trip after my first year of university. In fourteen days, I toured eight countries and slept in youth hostels the entire time. My trusty backpack was the only piece of luggage I carried with me. I stitched a Canadian flag on my backpack after other more experienced travelers advised me to do so. Everyone adores Canadians, don't they?
This excursion was going to be a little unusual. I've chosen to return to Europe, but this time I'm going to do it in style. I'm flying into London in first class, and I'm in desperate need of some first-class luggage.
Luggage is one of the most difficult purchases to make.
It's one of those items that won't be used frequently enough to justify a high price; yet buying inexpensive luggage would be a waste of effort and money. I planned to get together with some of my friends who will be accompanying me on my trip for a day of good old American shopping.
We spent the afternoon shopping at cokiifashion store, I ultimately reduced down my luggage options to three: American Tourists, Briggs & Riley, and Zero Halliburton. They're all appealing in their own way, and they're all reasonably priced.
According to what I've read, American Tourist baggage has one of the best warranties in the business. Briggs & Riley has been producing high-quality items since 1993 and offers a comprehensive guarantee. Zero Halliburton is exactly that: zero.
After giving it some deliberation, I decided that the Zero Halliburton suitcase was the one for me. I'll admit that I'm completely smitten by this suitcase. A Zero Halliburton would be used by James Bond to move a suitcase full of precious diamonds. I finally settled on a $900.00 26-inch Suiter. It is made up of a variety of materials.

8 Fashion Tips to Keep You Looking Stylish at All Times
Make the most of your capsule wardrobe. Make sure you have the following wardrobe essentials: a classic little black dress, a pair of well-fitting trousers, a classic blazer, simple T-shirts and button-downs in neutral hues, and an easy leather jacket (or denim jacket). The trick to looking put-together is to invest in a capsule collection of mix-and-match basics (and learn how to dress them).
Check to see if your clothing is a perfect fit. Hiring a professional tailor is one way to make any piece of clothing seem beautiful. Tailored clothing not only looks good, but it also makes you feel good. You won't feel elegant in pants that drag on the ground or outfits that bunch up awkwardly. If your capsule wardrobe fits you well, you can begin to experiment with over- and under-sized things in a stylish, not sloppy manner.
Learn how to keep proportions in check. It's all about arranging your attire to achieve an overall aesthetic harmony when it comes to balancing proportions. Wearing clothes that are tailored to your body form is one approach to do this. Make a fashion statement by keeping the rest of your outfit fitted when you want to experiment with bigger or odd shapes. Pair a tight crop top with wide-leg jeans or a puff-shoulder shirt with straight-leg slacks, for example.
Discover your own particular style. It can take years to develop a signature style, but you can start by making a mood board. Remember that personal style is an experiment; you never know what stunning looks you'll find in the dressing room until you're there. The terms "menswear" and "womenswear" should not be used to determine how you purchase. Take some time to experiment with different colors and shapes to see what looks best on your particular figure.
Improve your shopping skills. Learning how to buy for exactly what you want will help you avoid overstocking your closet with goods you'll never use. When you have a wardrobe full of items you adore, putting together an ensemble becomes second nature. Add a belt to the look. One of the simplest ways to make any outfit look more put-together is to add a belt. It's also a terrific way to provide balance to an otherwise unbalanced look, such as a long cashmere sweater and a billowy midi skirt.
Use color to your advantage. Start with one colorful piece and keep the rest of your outfit neutral if you're afraid of adding color to your outfit. You'll learn which color combinations work best for your style as you become more acquainted with colors. For ideas, take a look at a color wheel.
Patterns and textures should be mixed together. The days of matching your handbag and shoes are long gone. A striking fashion statement is made with clashing textures and designs. Start with simple patterns like stripes and low-key textures like leather and knits, then gradually add sequins and paisleys in little doses (such as a scarf, tie, or clutch) until you figure out what works best for you.
