My heart pounded, I was running as fast as I could. My only thoughts were to get my daughter to her father and fast. I could not keep her he would understand as much. Not that I even knew him all that well I didn't know were he lived or even his name. All I knew is that he was like no other man I knew. I never saw him in the day time he only came at night. Night after night I tried to find out his name and why I could not see him in the morning. He response was always the same, "I need no name". Then he would say, "you would not know me nor want to see me in the day." I always thought that was absurd I was in love with him I didn't care what he looked like really even though i knew he was very handsome and strong. Yet Even the very idea of just letting my daughter die due to me not knowing her father was horrid to me. I knew if I stayed in my little village, my life as well as my babies would be taken. So My only hope was to do as my love said and meet him at the farthest waterfall from my village. Being a priestess this was my only hope. I could not go back until I knew my baby was safe. I had betrayed my Village but yet not being with him would be more of betraying myself. I knew I would have to go back but I didn't want to. It pained me to look at my daughter and know that I may never see her again. Yet I continued putting one foot in front of the other still running. It took me yet another 5 minuets to reach the waterfall. Once there I stood looking around for my love when my eyes caught a glimpse of white and black fur.
