road. I walked for a while soon the sun arose. It was really beautiful to watch. Then I saw something, if in big bold green letters there was a sign that read SWORD SHELTER. I better check that out I thought to myself. Maybe I could learn some techniques on sword fighting. Sword fighting is the most gruesome thing I could do to an ogre like in my dream. I got inside I didn’t notice anyone; probably no one came in this early. It was probably 4:30! Oh gosh I said as my eyes followed to a table. The table was filled with foreign and many types of swords. I touched the hilt which was warm. However there was a slight tinge of cold to it. I immediately picked up and motioned to my imaginary opponent. You do know you don’t hold it like that a voice came out of nowhere it was a male’s voice. What I said bewildered by the sudden Interruption. I was frightened by it. I turned to look behind me. A tall guy with broad shoulders and dark blond long hair wearing a white shirt was leaning on the wall looking straight at me. His royal blue eyes seemed hypnotizing, his white flashy teeth grinned at me. I never seen you here, are you new? He said trying not to be pushy. Uu-huh I am new I stuttered still amazed by his beauty I couldn’t believe he didn’t recognize the noble hero in front of him. Oh really he said smiling again, this time he whistled. What is it? I questioned this time narrowing my eyes. Oh nothing, what’s your name? Why should I tell you? I said. He chuckled because I am a charmer he teased. He stepped towards me and took my hand and kissed it. My name is Damon Merlin, and you are madam? I snatched my hands away the spot where he kissed me seemed to burn in a good way. My name is Caraline Wilson and don’t do that I snapped. He put his hands up trying to look innocent oh my! I am sorry surely you’ll forgive me won’t you he said eying me intensely. Shut up I said folding my arms and putting my nose in the airs. Humph! He said trying to imitate what I just did. Ugh leave me alone I said irritated. No you see it’s the other way around I came here first so you should leave me alone he shot back this time his smile faded. Well he did have a point but I had my pride and I didn’t want to leave so I just stomped my way to a near by barrel and sat there like a potato sack. He on the other hand snatched a sword and started to whip it back and fourth. I guess he was trying to warm up. After hours of watching him fight I finally asked why you even practice for fighting isn’t your village safe enough. Why do you need to know? His eyes narrowed in to slits. I snickered and then scoffed who would even ask you? You should be glad that I even asked! He didn’t reply which made me uncomfortable. I hate not getting answers after my questions if they aren’t rhetorical. Suddenly he spoke I want to prepare for something big he sighed. I want to redeem my self, I want my revenge. I am going to fight him he breathed angrily I want to destroy him! Who? I whispered stunned by the look of his face. Which was no longer warm instead his expression turned cold and his face seemed stiff. Fasa, No king Fasa some people call him that I think it’s all a figment of his imagination he is no king. He turned to me his eyes suddenly dark now. You know...Why my relatives are all… dead. You have your grandmother I started --- he laughed bitterly that old woman. She has no blood of mine he muttered his nose flaring; she is just an old widow who agreed to adopt me after the death of all my relatives. That’s why he said tightening his grip on the hilt of his sword, that’s why I am going to kill him, annihilate him. He wiped his forehead which was glowing in sweat. Why am I even telling you this? He murmured his head bowed down. Your just a clueless girl who doesn’t know what she is about to face. He laughed again and faced me you think just because you were “chosen” it was going to be that easy and you’ll be Miss. Popular? I am sorry to burst the stupid bubble of yours but you aren’t going to get any of that until you truly kill him! With that he growled something in his breath and stomped away to the door his shoulder hitting my shoulder leaving me flabbergasted. What if I don’t want to kill him! I screamed tear stinging my eyes. I sank down to the floor crying I don’t want to kill him; I don’t want to kill anyone even if they’re just plain evil. I just don’t want to be a sick murderer. Why am I so scared?
Chapter 6
THE SIX STONES of PROPHECY
After he left there wasn’t much to do still sitting there confused. Racking, my brains to decide what to do wasn’t a very good idea, it was giving me a painful headache. Why did Damon have to be mean why does it seem like he understands me in a way but doesn’t in another way. Why is he so realistic why can’t he just be optimistic about it and give support? He is such a jerk I mouthed to myself anger flooding everywhere in my body. How could he defeat this, this monster? He doesn’t stand a chance I snickered to my self. He himself doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Finally I wiped my eyes full of tears and heaved my self up from the floor. My body ached by the stupid position I was sitting by. Ugh I muttered hands on my hips. I looked like an old woman. Geez! I am only 15, almost 16! Wait I stopped, my birthday it was coming soon! I will be 16 in another 1 weeks. Aw the first birthday that I wouldn’t celebrate with my dad. I shook the thought away and made it outside the shelter. I walked towards our cabin but something stopped me I heard something in the bushes. I saw dark green eyes; they were human eyes of course. They were the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen and I could feel my eyes riveted to them. Suddenly they disappeared. Who was that? I said so I quickly went through the bushes to follow it. He was fast, wearing a cape, a black one with the hood over his head. This guy looked like he was 18, he ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up. HEY! I yelled stop! He wouldn’t listen he just went on faster and so did I. we ran and ran till a dead end. It was a cliff edge, and I was sure below it was water, ocean water. He didn’t hesitate he jumped of but astonishingly flying to the other side of the cliff. I stopped dead looking at him from the other side. This time he froze having his back to me. With out noticing I stepped up when I stumbled across a rock and I fell of a cliff! The fall was so scary and so fast I didn’t even have a minute to think. It happened so fast. I am going to die that’s for sure. I plummeted straight through the icy water with a big splash. The water was so cold and the waves were so desperate and hungry to attack. I couldn’t hold on for much longer my breathing faded. Before I fainted the last thing I saw was a black cloak. I woke up with a start, lying on a sandy bay. I yelped when a crab bit my finger. Shoo! I growled as it scurried away not thinking twice. Ugh I sighed where I am. The sky seemed unusually dark it was going to rain. I looked around and then noticed the sea bay. So I promptly made my way around to the stony path to the rows of cabins. Drops fell straight down on my hair I could feel it. It was raining slightly then raining a lot then it was pouring. I was soaking wet. The water was so cold I couldn’t feel myself. I started to think how in the world was I alive! Gosh I was having bad experiences with water. Maybe he saved me the mysterious guy in the cloak, I coughed, and sniffed I couldn’t take it I ran. I ran like mad. I didn’t care, finally I made it home. Someone noticed me it was Jason. Jason I screamed as I ran to him. I hugged him, I needed a hug. He is my best friend who comforts me. I burst into tears soaking his collar. It’s alright Caraline I am here he said stroking my hair. I pulled back and asked with wide eyes why you are in the rain? You stupid idiot I was looking for you he exclaimed still holding me. Ugh sorry I said as I hugged him some more after awhile I pulled back. Let’s go inside Annabelle is blaming herself because you decided to have a lengthy morning stroll! She is worried sick. Oh my god I whispered as I leaned to his side I couldn’t keep my balance. When we walked in I fell straight at the coach. Annabelle came in hurrying to put a blanket around my. You are really absurd she said giving me a towel to dry myself. I am really sorry, Annabelle what time is it? It’s awfully dark. It 5:50! Oh I was out that long. You have got a lot of explaining to do miss Jason said. Oh I will tell you later but first the old woman next door she invited us for dinner tonight. Oh that lady next door Annabelle said she is very nice she invited me too today. When I said, like 2 hours after you left with no note she said coolly. Are we going? I asked as I lay down at the couch again. Yeah we are if you want to Annabelle shrugged and said. Hey I think we should get ready Annabelle said. It’s still late I said not too enthusiastic to go. I didn’t want to see Damon’s face. She said 6:30 anyways I moaned. Before I new it, it was already 6:30, I didn’t even have time for my eyes to close. Let’s go I said I didn’t want to disappoint the old woman. Alright Jason prompted let’s go. I got out of bed wash my face not bothering to change my still wet and moist clothes. I slipped on a coat and ran next door with my friends.

Master it’s not likely for you to let one of your enemies go alive! A deep voice said. I don’t know what got to me, this girl she…king Fasa started. You shouldn’t have such a tinge of warm heart one of them growled from a table. I know uncle! King Fasa snapped. It’s just that I didn’t feel like killing that day, didn’t you know that I had to be in the mood to do some thing wicked. Someone snickered and said Lame excuse. Shut up William! Fasa yelled furious at him. Well sorry for you lame excuse cousin but me and my brothers think your in love with that girl---be quite someone growled, sorry father William apologized as the laughter faded. King Fasa red faced noisily stomped
