able to come. Now hurry, brother, the king wishes for your presence." Eodor leads Terris out from the hospital, proceeding themselves to see the king of the Majestic Kingdom.

"Eodor Nakajima, Colonel of the 4th Guardian Legion, presence." Eodor reaching out his arm, saluting to the king. Following up by Terris,"Terris Mastrillia, former Captain of the 4th Guardian Legion, presence." Terris saluted the king, stiffing up his body.
"Ah, isn't it the hero of Constampelis, Captain Mastrillia of the 4th Guardian Legion. Come, at ease my young soldiers." The king lifted his gracious hand, commanding them to come closer. "Do not refer me by just 'The King', but rather, something pleasant to your ears, as a friend. How about King Vastra, eh?"
Eodor, with a quick bow with his head, "Your majesty, we cannot refer you in such manner, as we are unworthy."
"But I have deemed you two the worthiness to lead my army." The king gesturing himself to a bow, within astonishing surprise, all of the guards bowed their heads as well. "Eodor, you shall rise as Marshal of the 4th Guardian Legion with 100,000 men. Terris, above all, you shall have the honor of becoming the Marshal of the 1st Sentinel Legion with 22,000 men. Now, go and assemble the army and discuss your fine plan of defending Jumus. The hope of the Majestic Kingdom is within your leadership."
"Yes, your majesty." The two newly declared Marshals replied. Then, Terris and Eodor headed out to meet up with their new unit.
"Hey, Terris, how is your wound?" Eodor asked in concern before Terris goes back to battle.
"Such thing does not exist in my body anymore." Terris said with a chuckle, "Do not take me as a child, brother."
"Then I shall see you at dusk? Make time for your men. I'm hearing that the enemy are striking by two more days after they are reinforced by two more brigades." Eodor then point to the Infirmary Quarter, "You might want to return to that place, there are someone who want to see you."
"Making haste, I shall." Terris ran to the Infirmary Quarter, only to find old friendship being reunited.
Out from the hospital, a lively and pleasant voice ran through Terris' ears like a flute singing through the woods.
"Terris!" Marie exclaimed, and waving her hands, "My goddess beloved, it is you!"
Terris turned to Marie's direction, "Marie! How long has it been, sister, two years?" Spreading his arms out, reaching to Marie, giving her a warm hug to celebrate their reunion.
"Indeed it has been," Marie invited Terris over, "Come on inside the hospital with me, Levila want to see you."
"She is here as well?" Terris asked in surprise.
"Well, aparently she was injured during the last battle before her brigade retreated back to Jumus, and now she ended up here." Marie stopped at the door to the private room, "Now, proceed in without me, I must attend to other patients."
"Will do my dear." Terris proceeds into the room. After he entered, he noticed a lady with long blonde hair, sitting up on her bed, feeling comfortable enough to lean her back to the wall, while reading a huge map that veiled her face.
"Who dares bothers me from my planning?" Levila asked without paying attention to her surroundings.
"Your newly Commanding Officer, Miss Kakunojo." Said Terris, while leaning besides the corner of the door, crossing his arms.
Levila looked up with surprise in her face, "Oh dear, why my apologies, sire- wait, is that . . . Terris! My goodness it is you!" As quickly as she could, the feminine soldier stood up, running to Terris and held him in her fragile embrace with tears, "I cannot believe it, I've missed you!"
"Indeed my dear Levila. Surpassing my rank haven't you? Colonel it seems?"
"Why, of course Captain Terris, I-"
"Marshal Terris now, my dear."
"Marshal?" Levila said with a stuttering face, staring widely at Terris.
"Indeed, the king called me and Eodor in and promoted us to command the 4th Guardian and the newly 1st Sentinel brigade."
"Why, yes, how silly of me not to notice, as you see that we were beaten to pulp on the last battle."
"Say no more, it will change, I promise."
"Will we have enough strength? I heard the enemy are leading over 900,000 men to skirmish against us at Jumus."
"How much do you have now?"
"About 26,000 men."
"I have another 22,000. Eodor has 100,000. The few other marshals only have combined of 280,000. Even still, we only have a combined forces of 428,000. We are greatly outnumbered." Said with a calm voice, Terris brushed his hair, walking toward the window and stare at the beautiful view of the ruby sky. Without saying anything for the longest time- long enough to worry Levila to start losing hope. At that moment, Terris turned around and look at her, "But I have a plan."
With hope shining to her face, Levila rushed quickly to Terris, combining her gentle hands to his, "You never cease to surprise me, Terris."
"Have I now? Well, the past is the past. Who knows that I might be rusty right now with these outdated battle plan of mine. Hahaha!" Terris placed his hands on Levila's shoulder, pushing her gently back to her bed, "You should rest up from those injuries, I need your strength as much as I did two years ago."
While laying down, Levila looked up at Terris, as he starts to leave, "I will always remain loyal to you, Marshal."
"Just call me Terris. You are an old friend, dear Levila. Now, do the kingdom a favor and rest up." Without saying anything else further, Terris proceed on exiting the room.
Levila looking at Terris as he leave, while during that temptation she wanted to confess something in her mind but yet, the urgency state of the kingdom does not require any further interception, she relinquished herself, and then tilted her head upward and looking up at the ceiling, "I've always . . . " Saying nothing further, she fell asleep.

At dusk, Terris arrived by the warcamp stationed behind Jumus. Thus, Eodor begins his strategy of prevailing the upcoming battle,
"I shall take 70,000 men with me to take route behind their lines. Dividing 30,000 to your command to help supporting the defense in Jumus." Eodor said while placing his fingers; anchoring his chin, making him looking like a wise man.
Terris then strike a question, "I assume that Marshal Glodio, Marshal Deva, and Marshal Fauler will be assisting my unit regarding the defense of Jumus?"
"Absolutely, brother. The jurisdiction is yours. You are the Commanding Marshal of this operation."
"What about you, brother? How will you make behind the enemy line unoticed?"
"I shall lead my men before dawn. Of course, the far journey that the enemy took in order to rally their massive army might psychologically strain them, therefore, they must be resting."
"It does not mean that they doesn't have any scouting unit."
"Do not worry, I have sent a few spies in order to take care of the scouts. Now, if you'd excuse me, I must lead my men if I want to make it before the cover or night goes away. You should meet up with the three Marshals and continue polishing your defense." Eodor grabbed his sword from the nearby chair. "Also, I will be taking Marie with me."
"What need do you have for her?"
"She knows this land better than I, and of course, leading us to the safest route."
"Ah, of course. Take care now." Terris saluted to his spiritual brethren, placing his fist to his heart, and then raising out his hand. Without saying anything else further, he proceed on entering Jumus to meet up with the three other Marshals.
