but didnât think anything of it. When we got there I knew I was going to die, all long it was just a test to study me and now they would do away with me. I stopped waking. My heart was pounding. I couldnât use magic and fighting could lead to my death, even if I was about to die. I searched the room quickly and spotted my only opportunity of escaping. The window next to the balcony, it was risky but I had to try. But before I could start running one of the men slammed a blunt object into the of my head; I dropped to the ground, I could still hear for a few seconds and Marcaire said nothing. I woke on a cold metal table. I was no longer in my cloths, they where replaced with just a cloth. A bright light came on and I couldnât see, I heard unrecognizable voices cold flesh made contact with mine. My heart was pounding, I tried to move but I was bounded to the table. I happened to see a large tray with strange sharp objects near my side. I let out a sharp shriek, glass broke. âSheâs morphing!â I heard. Multiple figures came rushing around me strapping me down more. A cloth was placed around my mouth. The brightness of the light kept me form seeing anything. One of the figures moved it the path of light and for that split second I saw what was coming for me. Objects priced my skin and wires where inserted. It hurt so badly, and they obviously didnât care. The more I struggled the more pain I felt. I couldnât even think with the amount of pain I suffered. After what felt like hours the piercing stopped. I looked down at my body, wires and chords lay across it. Tubes attached to the wires led to pipes that connected to some kind of machine. I knew only worse was to happen to me. The machine was turned on and the wires began to pull. The pain was intense it just kept getting worse. I grew weak but the pain still continued. Finally the machine turned off. Still conscious, the wires where ripped from my body, as if I havenât suffered enough. My limp body was lifted form the table, and carried across the room. I felt blood drip from by wounds. My breath was choppy and to what I remember, my cuts where bandaged and the cloth around my mouth was gently removed, and I was laded in a soft bed to rest. The pain still rushing through my body caused me to black out. That night in my dreams, I had a vision of what is to come; Hell has caught me. As I dreamed this nightmare began to sweat and twitch until shook myself awake. Macaire was being dragged, he had scars like mine. âThey did it to him tooâ I thought. I tried to run over to the front of the cage but my weakened body instantly made me dizzy and I collapsed. âOh the little hybrid is trying to save her brother.â I heard someone say. âHybrid?â I moaned. âShe doesnât even knowâ. They laughed at me. I snarled back. After gaining my consciousness I tried to go over what I had learned. âHybridâ and âBrotherâ. This couldnât be happening to me. âPessstâ Macaire urged me to come closer to his cage. I looked toe bare up and down; it looked like jail, and felt like hell. âAre you all right?â he asked. âNo I have been kicked out of home, tricked by the family that took me in and nearly striped of my life.â I hated him and felt sorry for him at the same time. I didnât know if I could trust him of not. Macaire looked at me with his big eyes and whispered to me.â We only have each other now, sissyâ I backed up. âDo mean weakling or sister?â âThis boy is so vagueâ w ran my fingers through my hair. We are brother and sister, let me explain, pleaseâ he studded. I wrinkled my nose in discuss I almost kissed him. I nodded for him to go ahead. His story priced a giant whole through my heart. Our parents, both superior, met up and had two children. I stayed with mother and Macaire with our father; rose to be the best they can be. However, the masters of the lands found out and farced the two together so the children can be destroyed. Being a hybrid and being able to control all of the two lands powers scared the masters. It would be a long and painful process because our power not only regenerates but can be a power source to all witches. âSo weâre just like a batteryâ I asked. He nodded. âWait, our damn parents just gave us up, they didnât even fightâ. I paced the cage angrily. âI do remember one of my masters saying good job to my dad.â âWouldnât it be our dad?â âYes.â âMother always did say that one day I will fulfill my life on the lands, you think we where born for this reason and this were all just a plan?â âNo I would of noticed, I have intelligenceâ âI do tooâ âNot yetâ âOkay we are not fighting, we need to work together.â we both agreed that we where not each others enemies bit the world around us.
The Breakout
For what we thought where days passed we took turns telling about our lives. They where very similar in a lot of ways. I found out that we where twins and are more powerful together than a hundred masters. At night we would help teach each other our powers. âWhat is they find out and we go through the pain to the striping of our hybrid powers again?â I asked. We wonât, youâre stronger now.â Macarie reassured me. I shrugged and walked over to the bars of my cage resting my back up against it. I herd foot steps coming, Macarie heard them to he rushed over to the shared bars of our cage and took my hand. âDonât move no matter what, and follow my lead.â He whispered. I tighten my grip on his hand. âWhat are you two up toâ? Master of sound said hen he came into the light. âFlara de cordaâ we said. I felt our magic combined it was powerful but impure. Ropes of blazing fire raped it self around the master. âDonât shut your eyes you need to focus.â Macarie yelled. I did as he told, even if I didnât want to. I got scared at the face I was no longer Visoran The master screamed in pain I didnât want to hurt him, but I wasnât about to die. We finally finished off the master, funny how they can never die; he will be healthy in just a few days. Macaire knocked open his bars and rushed over to mine. âStep back,â he told me. I nugged my self to the furthest corner while he busted the door. He ran and grabbed my arm pulling me along beside him. It was hard to keep up and his grip was hurting me, but I kept quite. We went out of the building and ran. He took me to a wooded area and into a tunnel. It led to a warm cozy room. Three boys sat around the room. I stepped back and tucked my face behind Macaire. The boyâs faces studied me. I opened my mouth to talk. âThis is my Visoran sisterâ Macaire said. âWe know Efiia told us everything.â One said patting another. My guess was he is the warlock of intelligence protĂ©gĂ©. âYou two look awful, we done got the girls bringing some cloths for the pretty little sissy of yoursâ the one said. âIntros: thatâs Efiia of intelligence, and Bios of life; Iâm Ehos of sound.â Ehos pointed to the guyâs around the room. âYou best hope these fit the girl.â Someone said coming up behind me. âOh sheâs here, come with us and well get you changed.â The girls motioned me to follow. I looked down at my cloths I still wore the sheet used in the hybrid process, but now it was tattered and ripped. I was almost naked with only twenty percent of my cloths on. I lugged my self into the room. The girls, called Moiria of fate and Techra of technology studied me as I changed. I tried not to make eye contact with them. I stepped out of the room and met back up with Macaire; that night we stayed up talking more about our past life. âI well get you home I promise.â He whispered to me as I drifted off. I was awakened late at night by the sound of shouts. âThe masters done gone and found us.â Ehos yelled. I sprung out or bed and ran over to him. âWhatâs going on?â I panted. âThey have come for you, now you must go fun we will hold them off.â I was in too much shock too seen or to hear all was a blur. Macaire was not with me and I could feel the chill of magic running down my spine âthey where closeâ I awake on the table once again. âDamn it, Son of a bitch, Mother â I yelled. âHa-ha, you thought you could escape me?â someone said. âWell I am going too give you the worst pain ever. I looked over to my left and saw the greatest horror, my brother who I have only just met a couple of weeks ago was dead. His body ripped limb form limb. I lay on the table chanting âoh great masters of Visora, if you have any love for me please help meâ and then I experienced the worst pain ever. I let out a scream and I saw my mother run up to me. I was back home. âHoney did you dream about the trials?â she asked. âNo mother about my brotherâ
