door when they try to threaten them. Chase brings hope to Ashanti by protecting her from the bullies’ attacks. The next day, Chase is looking around his new home when he’s confronted by Ashanti’s older brother Lucas who seems to want to train Chase to fight in the cage fights known as the “Uncaged Beasts” event. Chase is suspicious of Lucas’ intent, but he only rambles about not being a proper older brother and being there for Ashanti before walking off. Chase takes Ashanti to the signup sheet while ignoring the three bullies from earlier. After signing up for the tournament he trains with Lucas to prepare for the first round. Chase makes a deal with his competitor and gets ready to face off Alexia’s Fenrir.

Chase ran towards Fenrir and landed the first strike. The blow fell short. Chase backed off as he dodged Fenrir’s attack. Fenrir backed off to analyze Chase. Chase backed off to do the same. “You will never win!” shouted Alexia. “Hey Ashanti! Can’t wait to take away your only summon from you!” She shouted. “Can Chase beat Fenrir?” I asked myself. “There is no way he can.” I thought. Chase ran towards Fenrir and attacked him barehanded. Fenrir dodged Chase’s attack and ended up biting him in the shoulder. Fenrir ripped off Chase’s shoulder and stepped back proud. “He’s down a shoulder. How long do you think he can last?” asked Alexia. She is acting smug about the situation. Chase retreated and held his wound tightly.

Chase entered the arena wearing a black hoodie that he never used before.

Chase put his hand into his sweater’s pocket and revealed a knife. He rushed at Fenrir with the knife in hand. Chase soon stopped and threw the knife at Fenrir spilling blood. Chase revealed three more knives and threw each other all hitting Fenrir. Fenrir is a strong beast but it wasn’t expecting knives nor them being poisoned. Fenrir could feel the poison surging through its blood. Chase took out his last two knives and launched one of them at the weakened Fenrir. Chase then rushed at Fenrir and stabbed the beast multiple times. “Stop!” The announcer shouted. He rushed over and stopped Chase. “Ashanti’s human has defeated Alexia’s Fenrir. It is Ashanti’s win.!” The announcer declared.

Episode Eight "Second Fight"

Recap:

Ashanti is known as a “failed summoner” because she is unable to summon anything when she reached fifteen. Four years later and she is still bullied by summoners who were lucky enough to be able to summon a beast. This drives Ashanti into the darkness where she is stuck in. She cannot get out of the darkness caused by bullying, but one night when she was releasing her pain, a human named Chase appears. He is her only light and hope for getting out of the darkness. The three summoners, Mikael, Lin, and Alexia, appear and try to harass Ashanti again, but Chase stands up to the bullies and slams the door when they try to threaten them. Chase makes a deal with his competitor and faces his enemy with poison knives. Chase wins the fight with dirty tactics.

“The second round will be between Lin’s Nine-Tail Fox and Ashanti’s human. Before the fight starts will there be any bets set?”  The announcer said. “My conditions will be the same,” Chase stated. “If I win, then I get the chance to end you,” Lin said with a fiendish smile. “You can’t do that!” I shouted. “I am,” Lin said. “Isn’t that right Jeff,” Lin said while looking at the announcer. “She’s right. If those are the conditions, then do both sides agree?” He asked. “I agree,” Chase said. “I do as well,” Lin said. “Chase,” I thought. “Then let the battle commence!” The announcer shouted. “Kill him!” Lin ordered. Her summon didn’t rush towards Chase as fast as Alexia’s Fenrir did. Instead, the NTF (Nine-Tail Fox) analyzed Chase. Chase was doing the same as he got his knives ready. Chase, impatient, rushed at Lin’s NTF but was hit by a blast of poison. “Ooooh, the famous ‘Poison Breath’.” The announcer narrated. “Now the human is at a disadvantage. Nobody has been able to defeat ‘Poison Breath’ before.” Chase ran towards his competitor and threw three knives all laced with poison hinted with the green tint. The knives hit NTF but didn’t deal much damage. Chase continued with his attacks. Most of them seemed worthless, but I did notice that one had a red tint on it. NTF tried its ‘Poison Breath’, but when it started its attack nothing came out. “What’s going on?” Lin shouted. “You saw my knives as pointless but didn’t realize the different laced knife. One of the knives was laced with a poison that is specific to animal type summons. Where I came from, it’s known as a tranquilizer.” Chase told him. NTF gave off a loud screech before falling to the ground. “Luckily, I know a bit about animals and tranquilizers thanks to my uncle,” Chase said. “The winner of this round goes to Ashanti’s human!” The announcer declared. I stared in disbelief. Chase looked over at me and waved. I couldn’t respond thanks to the shock of him winning.

(Sorry for the delay. Yesterday was very busy for me.)

Episode Nine "Third Fight"

Chase makes a deal with his competitor and faces his enemy with poison knives. Chase wins both of his fights with dirty tactics. He has now advanced to his third fight.

[POV is set to third person]

“Third round will be between Ashanti’s human and Mikael’s Elemental Feline.” The announcer announced. “Before the fight are there any bets?” He asked.

“Same as his last battle,” Mikael said.

â€œDo both sides agree?” He asked.

“I agree,” Chase said

“You already know my answer,” Mikael said.

“Okay, then let the battle begin!” The announcer shouted.

Mikael’s Elemental Feline took off. Mikael wasn’t planning on letting Chase get distance. She wanted her beast to close the distance, so he couldn’t use his throwing knives. Chase threw a knife laced with poison, but the beast dodged it. Chase threw another one, but this one was dodged again. “Kill him! Don’t let him live!” ordered Mikael. Chase continued throwing knives hindering the Elemental Feline’s movements. The only thing the knives can do is slow the Elemental Feline down, but since it can dodge his attacks he won’t be able to deal any damage. The Elemental Feline stopped its movement and opened its mouth. Out came a beam of fire. The beam missed Chase by a hair. Another beam started---this one being made of ice---and again missed Chase. Neither side could make a dent or even a scratch on the opponent.

[POV switched to Chase]

“I might have to use it.” Chase thought. “I don’t want to lose now. If I do then Ashanti will be sad again.” He thought. He pulled out a knife that glows a dark blue. He mixed the knife with regular knives and waited for his opportunity.

[POV switched to third person]

Chase wouldn’t wait for long as his opportunity came faster than he could think. The blue knife was laced with a new type of poison that will be lethal and game-ending. Chase threw the blue knife onto the ground in front of the Elemental Feline while throwing the regular knives at it. The Elemental Feline slashed the knives into pieces, but the blue knife caught its attention. The Elemental Feline left the knife behind and charged at Chase. Weirdly enough, the Elemental Feline stopped dead in its tracks and returned to the knife. It started licking it. The crowd let out a gasp. “What are you doing?” Mikael shouted. She didn’t realize what the knife was laced in. Chase had laced a mix of poison and catnip onto the knife. The catnip attracted the Elemental Feline’s attention and with the poison in full effect, it was a guaranteed win for Chase.

5 minutes later

“The winner is Ashanti’s human, Chase.” The announcer announced. “Chase will go to the next round. Congratulations!” The announcer said.

[POV switched to Ashanti]

“If they follow the bets then that means that I’m freed of their torment.” Ashanti thought. “I can’t believe it. I’m free. I’m actually free.” Ashanti said to herself. “All thanks to him. A weak human named Chase.”
