Ava's POV:

Smirking he went to the washroom, leaving me breathless. I put my hand on my chest, my heart was beating so fast. I closed my eyes and put my head on the wall behind me. No matter, how much I try to avoid these feelings, I just can't. Every time he's close to me, I forget to breathe. Taking deep breaths, I went to my luggage to take out my dress.

Opening the luggage, my eyes went wide. The whole bag is loaded with lingeries, and lace night wares. I took out a lingerie and almost choked on my saliva. It's black lace lingerie with see-through. I took out all the lingeries and look for something decent to wear, but there was none. Argh! Cora and Fleur. I'm so gonna kill them.

"Woah," a voice called and I look back to see Alpha Xavier standing there, water dripping from his hair, looking at the bunch of lingeries in my hand. Quickly showing them in the suitcase, I turned to him.

"What,"? I spat.

"How did you come? Why did you come,"? I fumbled with my words. Babbling, I tried to close the suitcase.

"Do I look like a movie prevue to you, that first that will come then I," Alpha Xavier said with amusement dropping from his every word. I glared at him.

"Turn around," I glared at him.

"Why,"? He asked taking a step closer.

"Because, I said so," I took a step back. He tried to take a look at my luggage. Quickly showing everything inside, I closed the luggage, and sat on top of it. I looked at him and smiled sweetly. He shook his head and smiled slightly. Amusement dancing in his eyes. He was about to say something when a Knock came on the door. Alpha Xavier looked at me and I looked away. He smiled and went to answer the door.

"Alpha," I heard a meek voice from the other side of the door. I was looking around the room when Alpha Xavier came back.

"Alpha Kevin asked for me. I'll go. I know you will take ages to get ready," Alpha Xavier smirked and went to the closet. I swear I got the most clueless and irritated mate. I slowly got out the luggage and slowly opened it, only to close it again. I look back to see that Alpha Xavier was standing there handsome as ever. He winked at me and left the room.

I sat on the bed, and put my head in my hands. Now, what should I wear? I don't know anyone here to ask for help. I can hear the faint music playing downstairs means the party has started. I can't ask Lily, she will be busy attending to the guests. Argh!

A knock came from the door. I opened the door, to see a beautiful lady around my age standing there with a bag in her hands.

"Alpha Xavier send this for you," she said handing me the bag. I took the bad confused. What did he send for me? Thanking her, I closed the door and, took the bag to the bed. I gasped opening the bag.

A stunning black and red A-line tulle gown were in the bag. I was shocked and surprised at the same time. Did Alpha Xavier get this for me? I touched the fabric of the gown and, it was soft. I feel like I was caressing silk. I couldn't take my eyes off the dress. I was lost in my thoughts when a knock came on the door. Carefully, placing the dress on the bed, I went to the door.

"Hey, hope I didn't disturb you. I thought you might need some help with getting ready," Lily smiled. She's looking stunning in her burgundy floral gown. I opened the door and she entered inside.

"Oh, my," Lily gasped as she entered inside. I followed her line of sight and blushed.

"It's so gorgeous," Lily said touching the dress.

"Thank you," I blushed.

"I must say, your mate has a wonderful taste," Lily teased,  making me red as a tomato.

"Let's get you ready," Lily said excitedly. It's been a few hours with her, but I love her. She's kind, gorgeous, and sweet. I smiled at her and went to the washroom, to change.

Coming outside of the washroom, Lily smiled seeing me.

"Oh my God, Ava. You look like a fae," Lily smiled making me blush.

"Thank you," She made me sit on the bed. I can't look in the mirror before getting ready completely. She started with my makeup. After half an hour later, she finally moved away.

"Now, you can look," she said with a sweet smile. I slowly get up and look in the mirror. I gasped, covering my mouth with my hands. The girl in the mirror is not me. She has a gorgeous flawless body. Her hair is in wavy curls with bold make-up. But most importantly, she has a spark in her eyes. I didn't know how I should feel but, I feel beautiful and... Happy.

"Thank you," I hugged Lily taking her by surprise. After a few seconds, I feel her wrapping her arms around me.

"Let's go. Give your mate a sweet heart attack," she winked making me laugh. Wearing my heels, we went downstairs.

The party was in full swing. The whole pack house was decorated with dahlia. Elegant lights were lit to make the atmosphere more romantic and passionate. Women and men were decked in fancy clothing. My eyes involuntary roamed on the sea of people looking for a certain someone. My heart skipped a beat when I spot him talking to a group of people.

"There they are," Lily said already running towards Alpha Kevin. Laughing at her, I also went there. As if sensing us, Alpha Kevin looked up and smiled at Lily. We went there and stood beside them. Alpha Kevin wrapped his arm around Lily's waist and kissed her temple making her red as a tomato. I was smiling at them when an arm wrapped around my waist making me jump.
