grabbed his other mate’s hand.

Taylor pulled free and shook his head. “I think I’ll stay down here. Justin is already going to be freaked out enough for his first feeding.”

“Oh, no,” Justin said as he grabbed Taylor’s hand. “You’re not letting me do this on my own.” Justin pulled at Taylor until their mate was moving with them. Chase studied Taylor, but couldn’t figure out why he would protest. Taylor lived to take care of Justin. Why would he back out now?

“Have fun,” Devlin called.

“Oh,” Chase said as he stopped, both his mates at his side. “I forgot to say thanks.”

Zacarius bowed his head. “That’s what family is for.”

Devlin crossed the room, giving Chase a quick hug. “Congrats. I hope it’s the news you wanted.”

“Finding out what’s wrong with Justin is what I wanted. Anything else we can deal with.”

“Well, now that you know, Zac and I are heading out. He has some important meetings to attend.” Devlin looked bored as he said this, but Chase understood that they dropped everything to come help him out.

“Thanks.”

“Yeah,” Justin said from beside him, “thanks.”

“No problem.” Devlin grinned. “You’re family.”

Chase felt his chest swell with pride at the declaration. His mates now had a family to call their own, something they both had been lacking their entire lives. He could see the happiness shining in Justin’s eyes, but Taylor looked a little reserved.

Chase didn’t get it.

“Go feed your mate,” Zacarius said. “We’ll do the whole family reunion thing later.”

“Thanks again,” Chase said and then looked over at Dominic. “We’ll be leaving in the morning. Thank you for all you have done for us.”

“I must borrow Zacarius’s words and say that’s what family is for, and you are now family.”

Oh, yeah. How had Chase forgotten that Danny and Justin were brothers? Maybe it was the excitement of having Justin feed from him that had him rushing from the office. The longer he stood there, the harder he was getting.

“We’ll talk later,” he called over his shoulder as he led his mates upstairs to their bedroom. He was so excited he knew he had a little bounce in his steps. Justin seemed a little reserved, but Chase knew that was because he hated the sight of blood and was a little afraid of what was about to happen.

Taylor, on the other hand, looked downright snarly. If the grim twist to his lips was anything to go by, he didn’t want to do this. Chase couldn’t figure out if it was because Justin was no longer diabetic, and Taylor had been caring for the man for so long that he didn’t know how to stop. Or if it was because Taylor didn’t like vampires.

Chase was confused as hell.

But one thing at a time. First, he needed to make sure that Justin was in peak physical health, and that meant feeding his little vampire. He’d deal with whatever was going on with Taylor after that.

“So,” Justin said as he walked into the bedroom and turned to look at Chase, “how do we do this?”

“Mind you, I’m no vampire expert,” Chase said as he shut the door, “but from what I understand, your body will react naturally when you smell my blood.”

“In case you didn’t hear me before”— Justin shuddered—”that’s just gross.”

Chase chuckled.

“How is he supposed to drink blood when he gets queasy every time he sees it?” Taylor asked.

“Simple. We don’t let him see it.” Chase walked over to the bag he had brought with him and searched through it until he found one of his clean white T-shirts. He ripped the plain cotton shirt down the middle and then walked back over to Justin.

“Turn around, sweetie.”

Justin seemed confused but did as Chase asked. Chase carefully wrapped the strip of material around Justin’s eyes and then tied it in the back of his head. Once Justin was blindfolded, Chase spun him around and started unbuttoning his shirt.

“Are we going to have sex again?” Justin whispered. The scent of desire filled the room, and Chase realized it was coming from Justin in waves. Apparently he liked the idea. A lot.

“That was the idea, yes.” Chase paused and then glanced at Taylor. “I was kind of hoping that Taylor would fuck me again while I fucked you, and then you could feed from me. I’ve heard that feeding during sex is the most sensual way to do it.”

One corner of Taylor’s mouth started to curve up. “I suppose I could consider it.”

Chase would have worried that he was putting Taylor out if the man hadn’t started to strip his clothes off so fast that his shirt ripped. He still wasn’t sure what was going on with Taylor, but the man had no issue with being intimate. That was good.

Once Taylor was naked, he walked over to join Chase, standing on the opposite side of Justin. Chase reached past Justin and wrapped his hand around the back of Taylor’s neck, pulling him close enough to claim his lips.

The first tentative kiss was gentle, sweet, and almost chaste. The second was anything but. It was hard, wet, and demanding. Chase wanted to possess Taylor almost as much as he wanted to be possessed by the man.

“Fuck, no one kisses like you do, Taylor,” Chase groaned as he ripped his lips away from the man and drew in a lungful of much needed air.

Taylor grinned. “Like that, do you?”

“God, yes. I could kiss you all day long.”

“I just may take you up on that once of these times.”

Chase groaned, feeling his cock throb in his pants. He could just imagine cuddling with Taylor and kissing him until they both came. And he had no doubt that it would happen, too. Taylor kissed like it was a sexual act all by itself.

“Get Justin naked.”

Chase stepped away and started stripping his own clothes off. His fingers fumbled with the buttons as he watched Taylor undress their mate. He didn’t just strip the clothes from his body. He used the act as a sensual play,
