You drove me crazy. And I could no longer give up the drugs that your body and your scent represented for me."

"Luckily I wasn't the only one who went mad," I said smiling.

"And that's why I love you," he replied before lifting me off the ground and kissing me on the lips.

We had booked a suite in the best hotel in Madrid to spend the night and have an unforgettable night. I burst out laughing when Damian tried to open the door holding me in my bulky dress. He succeeded only after several attempts. There were white dahlia petals on our bed, a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, two glasses and a tray of strawberries. When I saw a big chocolate cake that looked like Kinder Bueno I shouted for joy.

"Nooo!" I exclaimed wriggling in his arms. "What is that?" I yelled in amazement.

"You lied to me!" he said trying not to laugh. "You told me your favorite flavor was strawberry."

"And how the hell did you guess? I've been kicking my ass in the gym for seven months so that you didn't find out!" I exclaimed. I had eaten Kinder Buenos secretly so that he didn’t think I was a chocolate bar addict.

"I have my contacts," he replied.

Although Damian knew from my planner that I had an obsession for that chocolate, I didn't think it was enough to find out about it.

"I'll kill Ingrid!" I exclaimed assuming it was her. From Damian's laughter I got the confirmation that it was her.

"Why don't you check what's inside?" he proposed.

I frowned. What could there be? Presumably a delicious hazelnut cream filling. When I broke the chocolate cake I discovered that it was empty and contained a velvet roll inside a clear plastic bag to protect it.

"What is this?" I asked moved.

"Open it and you'll see," he said as he walked over to me. When I started unrolling it, I remembered exactly the moment I had seen Damian do something similar.

"No," I said anticipating the moment when I could admire the glitter of that jewel.

"Now it's really yours," he said as that diamond and emerald necklace slipped through my fingers. "It belongs to you, like my heart. Both are yours alone."

If they told me, the first time he was putting that necklace on me, that one day it would be mine, I would have never believed it. I began to cry from the excess of emotions, and I felt the touch of his fingers on my cheeks.

"I'm so happy that I feel like I'm dreaming," I replied trying to smile.

"Then let me show you that this is not a dream, let me love you until our bodies surrender..."

Those lips made for sin kissed every inch of my skin while he was caressing my body. I felt the softness of his caresses as I gave myself to pleasure body and soul. His tongue delighted me, made me lose my mind and made me beg to be his, until finally my silent pleas were satisfied and I felt him vigorously go in and out as I said his name aloud.

"Damian," I whispered completely ecstatic as we hugged.

"Yes, my love," he replied stroking my arm.

"If you could go back to the moment we met in front of the elevator, would you change anything about it?" I asked knowing that I wouldn't change anything.

"No," he replied. I got up and looked him in the eye. "Every moment I lived has led me to you, and I wouldn't change a thing about the way we met."

"Did your mother give birth to you or did the gods create you?" I asked.

Damian laughed heartily. Taking advantage of the situation, I straddled him to get better access to his abs. Damian took a strawberry and bit it as he stared at me.

"You have definitely been shaped by the gods," I confirmed as my hands ran along those muscles until Damian began to moan with pleasure. He sat up to bite my lips instead of that forbidden fruit.

"They must have thrown the mold out after creating him because there is no other man on the face of the earth like Damian," I thought as I savored his strawberry-flavored lips.

Ten months later.

"I still don't know how you managed to convince me. If anything happens to you, I'll kill Michael, even though he's my best friend," Damian grumbled as the private jet took off for Edinburgh.

Damian and I were Michael and Nerea's wedding witnesses, who had decided to get married in an intimate ceremony in Scotland. My nearly nine months of pregnancy, just one week before the due date, could not have stopped me from going to my best friend's wedding.

"Nothing will happen to me. The baby is expected to arrive next week. So relax and enjoy the ride," I said calmly.

"Yeah, but it could happen sooner. We should stay at home, as any reasonable person about to become a father or mother would do, and not go to a wedding in another country!"

"Don't worry, Damian. You also hired a doctor who will accompany us on the trip. There is nothing to worry about."

Damian had chosen Arturo, a middle-aged doctor who was specialized in gynecology and obstetrics. He had spent a small fortune in exchange for his peace of mind.

"Do you know how labor can get difficult? I just want to be calm and I want you to be in good hands when the time comes."

"I will be because I'm with you," I said as I took off my seat belt and slid into his seat to sit on his lap. He took me in his arms and stroked my belly that seemed to be about to explode at any moment.

I still couldn't believe I got pregnant so fast. Barely a month
