Araxie is just a normal girl. She goes to work, eats, sleeps, and can breathe underwater. Okay, so maybe a better term would be "mermaid". But when her curiousity draws her closer to land than Araxie had ever been before, she meets a human named Eloise.

Eloise discovers something, or someone, unusual when she goes swimming. Maybe it was the sun or her eyes playing tricks on her, but she was sure that she saw a tail under the water when she meets Araxie, a mysterious girl with short, brown hair, and pointed ears.

The girls both discover something that day, an amazing friendship and possible love. When the ultimate barrier being the thing that both love the most - the ocean - how can they survive the troubles of each of their lives and be happy?
