One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

Poems 2 my life

Introduction

These are poems to my life
THey describe how ifeel
How people hurt me
How they just can't see life like do
They try to walk all over me
Sometime iwish I exist no more
That I'm jus a burden
This book is full of free style poems like this
But if you dont like them then oh well

Like the earth

As I stare outside
Something hits me
It hits me hard
I wonder how come I cant be like the earth?
The earth is so peaceful
Why can't I be like that?
But then again we are like the earth arent we?
The earth is used and abused by others!
I myself am just like the earth
I get used by my own friends
I may not be hurt physically
But I get hurt mentally and that hurts more
As the earth get polluted
So do I
I am polluted with hate and anger for others-

being attached

I easily get attached to people
But just as easy as I get attached
I get detached
Then you leave me looking stupid!
I'm left hurt!
Feeling empty inside!
I'm just left to hide myself from the pain
But see unlike you!
I don't run from my problems but stand them in the face!
I'm no coward but you
You have to answer that for your self-

Life goes on

Life goes on
No need to end it
But even i was stuck in a crossroad
To chose which way to pick down the street
Or across the road
Which way to make me feel better
But instead I chose neither
For that I'm grateful and
I'm going to end this poem short-
Aaron Roldan

Should I?

Ishuld I do it first?
Make the first move
Ask him first
Love him first
Be dedicated first
The one who puts their all?
Or wait for him to catch up?
Should he be the one to say ilove you?
The one to grab my hand first
The one to hold me first
the to love me first?
Idont know but love hurts
Do I want to be the one hurt first?
Iguess it's all abou risks
But all he need to know is ilove him-
