Late in the evening sky
Appeared a rainbow with umpteen colors
Dazzled with a silver lining
Drifted across tinted clouds.
Silent whispers knock me down
to realize it is too late to believe
that you are in love with me.

Chained to your jerking memories
My sleep evades through shocking dreams
Twisting nerves at my ankles
Reminds me of the pain

Piercing thorns ache my heart
Yet, I don’t hesitate to kill
My deep love for you.
Wavering love vanished away
Once you triggered my nerves

Love as a lost battle

With moments failing to win
our hearts to take the vow
I slowly move away from you.
New seconds tricking their way
Silently show your hidden self.
Bereaved souls mourn
For love lost is an unplucked fruit
left to decay behind wilting leaves.
