Am I winding up the day
with salty tears
that reflect lost smiles
I had for you.

No more should there be
Any sighs and regrets for thee.
Palpitation went astray
leading blood pressure to drop
Devoid of oxygen
heart’s muscles swell -
bloated it hurts me a lot.

With the electrodes
on my naked breast
exposed thoughts
stare at me with hatred.

To relax and stay still
even for a few minutes
strains my nerves for a while

Monitoring heart
for something wrong
will this machine find out
whatever missed as a lot?

Abnormal rhythms of heart
foretell what is in store
without you near me
signals received from heart
has got lost in
an invisible love maze.
