Aspirations of death

The absence of hope,
within which lies power,
Freedom from the chains,
which doggedly enslave,
Coaxing an existence,
in dibilitating reigns.

As puppets on the strings,
of a satirical God,
Mocking our lives,
with the wages of sin,
Hope springs eternal,
again and again.

Cursing us with,
this will to survive,
Existing because I must,
for my family,
For my friends.

So I wait,
I exist,
As the mite on a lens,
life- my parasite,
Hope- my sin.

I know not the meaning,
of this life contrived,
Patiently I wait,
for my sweet demise.
