âOk, ok, just shut the hell up, you think you know best when you donât, so go jump in a ditch!â
âDonât speak like that to us young lady; go to your room NOW!â
âWhatever at least itâs better there, because I donât have to see your faces.â
(Well rewind 5 minutes of my life and then youâll understand)
*Me Elvira*
I came down the stairs totally ticked off already because of my stupid mobile phone it keeps freezing then the battery dies out. Man thatâs annoying. The whole house is so happy to be in; life is dead donât know, why people canât see it. I walked in to the family room where mum, dad and smug little crappy faced Katy stood.
I rolled my eyes at the sight of them, what more could this be than the normal lecture. (Your 17 get a job, brighten up, be sensible and donât be rude) the same and continues lectures I thought I would hear for the rest of my life.
I stood opposite them facing the mirror directly behind them. I could see me in the mirror my face but i would prefer not to. The room was a dark brown chocolaty colour. I would prefer it to be grey but mum said that would make this place look like a grave yard. (Thatâs the point mum, remember the dead, come on).
I stood there waiting for the reason I was called down and made stand opposite them like a target. Dad cleared his throat âwell Elvira weâve decided.â then he left it to that and just walked out of the room leaving me, Katy and mum. What in the hell was all that about?
I looked at my mother even clearly now, what were she and him planning to do? (Probably sell me and get a cat or even send me to boarding camp or something dumb) I could feel my eyes digging in to her; I wanted answers not something stupid like another lecture.
She handed me a piece of paper she had been holding since I had got here, at first I had thought it was a tissue paper but it was a picture. âHere, look.â she said before putting it in my hand and making room for herself on the sofa. Katyâs lips twitched a little I could tell from the corner of my eyes she was in that sense of laughter. She followed what mum did and sat beside her.
I looked carefully at the picture examining it. It was of a man, well not a man a boy. He had blonde hair with the shade of brown in it and had sky blue eyes. He wore a plain white beach shirt with a blazer on top of it, with jean underneath. I looked up from the picture and said âwhat am I supposed to with this?â she then patted for me to come and sit beside her on the other side. I wasnât going to sit there, not in a million years.
Taking two steps back indicating that I wasnât going to sit there, she smiled and said in her sweetest voice âthatâs your fiancĂ©.â
(Then you can imagine the restâŠ.. from there onwards.)
I had just thrown a massive tantrum after finding out that I was going to get married to a weird guy I had never met. I knew my parents had ruined my life but this was a whole new low for them. I slammed the door so hard that it made a huge thud when it closed. That was my whole intention to make sure they heard me throw all the feelings out at them and maybe they might reconsider but my parents that was a (never gonna happen.) I paced up and down thinking of a way out and telling myself this was just a whole load of bullshit. Then I could hear their voices downstairs, dad was yelling at mum and I could just make out that someone had left the house slamming the door as I had just done. I knew this was a big thing but they brought it on themselves I guess. Then someone could turn around and say to me (you brought this on yourself). Man I was so fucked up I donât know how I was going to cope. I finally gave up and jumped on my bed and lay there till I fell asleep.
Chapter 2:
I woke up to find that I was on the floor. The curtains had been drawn back which made it looked so bright, it burned my eyes to look at my own room, I just about managed to pick my clumsy head from the ground, finding myself on the floor I realised I had fallen off my bed during the night. I pushed myself to sit; still groggy I pulled myself together. I could feel the aches and pains in my neck and shoulder blades. It was mostly because of the way I had slept.
Slowly, getting up I began to walk to the door which was opened but I was certain I had closed it. I wanted to close it again but then I heard a loud grunt. And in the doorway was stood a freaking HOT guy. He was fully built with a black top on that clearly was fitted and showed every muscle he had. He was standing with his arms folder which gave him an even more of the sexy guy look. I worked my way from toe to head. And when I found his face it was beautiful. What can I say, never seen anyone as fit as him. His eyes were dark brown with black in them giving them the sinister guy look with the whole round face that just got framed by his cropped hair that was spiked up. It almost looked like he was a dark angel with all the light on him; I thought I was still dreaming so I let myself drool.
I was still stood half hunched examining this sexy guy. I think he found the silence around us awkward so he interrupted it by a coughing and saying âyouâŠokâ. I found it so hard to answer him, because I just realised I wasnât dreaming, I wanted to just stare at his face but I had already made it more awkward than it should have been. Then before I had a chance to speak, mum walked in from behind him. she looked at me and I quickly straightened up acting like I didnât give a fuck she was here and I still hadnât got over about yesterday.
âWell I see you have met Eldon.â she indicated to the freaking amazing guy I was so drooling over. It was so weird because I thought I couldnât feel emotions except getting pissed off at my parents. This couldnât be what I was thinking.
Then after a good few seconds of dreaming over the guy did it click that he was in our house, in my bedroom and my mum had just introduced him to me like he was the new vase on the desk.
Then she was about to step to the side when he said âcall me E,â I didnât know what to say but be mesmerised but I tried to cover it up with my stoic expression. âHe will be looking after you âŠâ she said then went quitter whilst she finished her sentence âthen you donât do anything stupid.â I got what she was saying but I was like (what the fuck mum, yeah this is what she wanted for her eldest daughter, forced marriage; as well as to keep me prisoner). This was so fucking piss taking, yeah he was all good looking but what, was he supposed to do was walk around with me everywhere I went.
My eyes widened and I made a face as though I was going to explode. âWhat the fuck mum what do you think youâre doing?â and before she could object or say anything I pushed both of them out. Slamming the door once again I sat on my bed. I could hear muffled voices on the other side. I wasnât two years old that I needed a babysitter but then again having such a fit guy hang around with me would make things less lonely, then again not like he was going to care about me either he was getting paid to watch me, unless I played a little game. I felt the grin grow on my lips and held my breath then I wouldnât burst out laughing. I knew exactly what I was going to do.
Letâs teach them a lesson they will never forget.
Chapter 3:
I walked downstairs like I would normally. Thudding every step I took to make sure it would make a loud noise then everyone would know that I was coming. I was shocked to find, when I came out of my room Eldon was outside, he had been standing there the whole time I was inside. As we walked down he walked a step behind me. I could feel his strength vibrate on my back but I didnât still say anything to him. Dad walked out of the living room and yelled âElvira you insane girl, what the hell do you think youâre doing?â I gave him one of my (Iâm not bothered, canât be bothered with you looks) and said âwalking down the stairs,â I heard a slight laugh from Eldon which he cover with a cough. Dad made a face I could tell he was going to go into that (blowing the top off) mode his face went bright red and I thought I saw steam come out of his ears. He screamed so loud that mum came running from the kitchen âI CANâT WAIT TO GIVE YOU AWAY!â with that he left the house again. Mum looked at me with tears in her eyes she didnât care she just couldnât see people yell so loud that was all. I gave her one sympathetic look which was truly fake not that I really felt sympathy
