I waved goodbye to Justin and all my friends. I got really scared that I would never see them again. I was so sad; I started to cry, some of them had been my best friends. I was scared that once I was gone that they would replace me.

Now…

I was 5 then, but now I’m 17. A lot has changed since. My parents died, so I decided that I should go back to California. I packed up my bags and left the small apartment that my parents and I rented. I hopped in my BMW convertible and drove away.
I was surprised to see that the mansion was still there and it was still beautiful. I didn’t tell anyone I was coming back so nobody came to welcome me back. I drove up while singing ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ by One Direction with the radio.

Justin and his best friend, Trent live like right next door so they’ll probably realize that someone moved in. Right now, I’m in my bathroom with my hair in a towel because I was just in the shower. The doorbell rings.
"It’s open!” I yelled
I heard the door open and someone come in.
"I saw someone moved in and I live right next door so I wanted to say hi.” Trent said.
"Be there in a sec, just let me get dressed." I said.
I could almost hear him blush, I ran into my room and pulled on some ripped skinny jeans and a t-shirt that said ‘epic swag’ because I mean, that’s what I have. I took my hair out of the towel, put it in a pony tail and ran down stairs.
"Hey what’s up?" I asked.
"Kat, is that you?!?" he yelled.
"Yep and..."
But before I could finish my sentence he tackled me into a huge bear hug.
"I missed you so much! Justin will be so happy to see you!" he exclaimed after we pulled apart.
"Wait, don’t tell Justin or anyone. I want it to be a surprise. They’ll see me tomorrow at school." I said trying to catch my breath because he is strong and almost killed me with that hug.
"You look so different… I mean, in a good way but so different…"he said looking at me up and down.
"Okkkay.. um well, tomorrow is a big day so I’m gonna get some rest. Bye Trent, and remember our little secret,” I said as I pushed him out the door. I actually did change. Instead of the boring blonde hair I use to have, I now have a lot of highlights and its really wavy and pretty. My eyes are a greenish bluish color, and I have a four pack but back when I was 5, I was as skinny as a twig. I lay down on my comfy bed and drifted off into a peaceful sleep only to be woken by my alarm clock that plays 106.1. I got up and got dressed, I’m wearing a grey off the shoulder shirt with an alien spaceship on it and some ripped skinny jeans.

I walked into the office and got my schedule and locker number. Then I walked to my locker. Someone tapped on my shoulder, so I turned around.
"Hey, I’m Justin. Your hot, so here’s my number." he said handing me a folded piece of paper.
"I wont be needing this." I said, handing it back to him.
"Why?"
"Because I already have it." I said, talking really slow like he was a kid.
"Do I know you…?" he asked looking suspicious. He was probably thinking I was stalking him or something crazy like that.
"Do I really have to spell it out? Ok, we lived right next to each other for a little bit...in kindergarten you had helmet hair.... hey briefcase." I when I said his nickname I made up for him in pre k, he realized it was me. I'll explain why I called him that later.
"KAT!!!!!! Your back!" he yelled. Oh great, now people are staring.
"Yep and thanks for calling me hot." I winked at him and he started to blush.
"OMG Justin Lopez blushes!" I yell, pinching his cheeks.
“Well c’ya! Got to go!" I say playfully slapping him on the cheek.


I skip into class humming ‘Glad You Came’ and sat down next to Trent.
"So how'd it go?" asked Trent.
"How’d what go?" I asked.
"Seeing Justin." he whisper yelled
"Um… good. How do you know about that?" I asked.
"I’m the one that told him to talk to you." he said
"Well did you tell him do give me his number and call me a hotie?"
"He did what now?" he asked his chin almost touching the floor.
"Weird, right?"
Right when I said that, Justin came walking in, he sat right behind me and I could just feel his eyes staring at the back of my head.
"What’s your problem?" I turned around and asked.
"Nothing, it’s just you look different." He stated.
"That’s exactly what Trent said when he saw me yesterday."
"Wait, Trent saw you yesterday?? When and why didn’t he tell me about you?" Justin exclaimed.
"Because I asked him not to. He came by my house, the old mansion." I said.
"OM double G!!!" I almost yelled.
"WHAT?????" Trent and Justin asked in union.
"Is that Em? She’s so pretty!! I can’t believe that’s her!!" now I was yelling and people were staring but I didn’t care.
I ran up to her and gave her a big hug. She gave me a look that said, ‘OMG this stalker is so creepy’ so I let go and looked her dead in the eye (Ha, did any of you just bust out singing ‘Blame It On The Alcohol’ because I sure did! HEHEHEHEHE!!) and asked her, "You really don’t remember me?” She cocked an eyebrow. “I’m Kat, yo best friend!"
"OMG!! Kat! I missed you so much! Wanna hang out sometime?" she asked, while jumping up and down. That girl’s getting really excited…
"Heck yea!" I yelled.
"Kay. Lets go! C’mon guys, lets get out of here." she says.

Justin’s P.O.V.

We walked out of class and went to my car. We drove to Wendy’s, because Wendy’s is just plain awesome.
