It is in this time that they all went against each other, who is going to take to rule the world. A war has started, it's no longer small battles, and humans are nothing but collateral damage for the sake of the bigger picture. Some leading authorities have formed an alliance in Hell and they rebelled even on Lucifer himself.
Jerry is a simple city dweller who enlists in the military and finds himself in a land he has never dreamed of ever going. The land is a place where trees and animals and a big and mighty river are all around. Something else is there that really captures his attention. It is a road, a road that from what Jerry can tell goes nowhere. But every road goes somewhere; right? Well, Jerry finds that when you are in the middle of nowhere a road can lead to something quite unexpected.
Many years ago a young princess, called Viola, was taken from her family by her evil stepmother and her brother, who had just before that killed her father, the King. This had all occurred in a big affair causing the deaths of many soldiers and townspeople. Viola was then taken through very dark forests and past an extremely unpleasant lake that is only known as the lake of grief. It took them numerous days to get to the, now Queen’s, palace where Viola was then thrown into a filthy dungeon to rot, only surviving on small scraps and bones.
Gabrielle has been treated wrong since her parents died when she was six and sent to an orphanage. Now she's thirteen and still in the same place that she calls home.One day she was taken by a group of angelic people telling her that she must train to save mankind and keep all things that are above and below in order. Will Gabrielle accept the challenge of becoming what she must be or will she turn on what she was meant to do.
William Cain. A young photographer with extreme promise in the advertising industry has taken an assignment deep in the swamps of Southeast Georgia. While dreaming of how he will one day become partner in his firm of Burgundy and Lace Publishing, William wants nothing but to keep his eight year-old son Rocco and the boy's well-being at the pinnacle of any success that may come William's way; even to the point of leaving everything he has ever known behind, just to ensure that Rocco will grow without the obstacles that William faced while living into his own potential.

With a couple of days off from his duties at the Air Force station, Jerry decides to take a camping trip to find out what wonderful surprises would be awaiting his arrival.
And what exactly does he find? Well the answer to that lies beyond The Road and Up the River.
