moved her hand to her lips covering her fingers in her own blood, she then reached out to Michael who didn’t move away and took his hand in her blood stained one.
“my blood is now on your hands and so will many more be, leave now so I may die in peace” she pulls the sword out and drops like stone to the floor, Luc is by our side now and is crying so hard I am surprised he can see anything. He goes to mother first who must have died as she hit the floor as he quickly moves over to me to look at my wounds. I look behind him and see Michael leave along with all our attackers. Leaving many injured behind of their people and ours behind. He looked broken but I didn’t care he had left my brother alone as I was not long behind my mother in embarrassing death. I swear I’m going to haunt his ass.
“How is she?” I hear Sebastian ask as he too drops down to his knees beside me. They looked over at one another and their silence spoke volumes telling me what I already knew, I was dying. There is enough demon in me to be killed by an angel’s blade and it had touched me for a moment as it had gone through my mothers back and sliced my arm.
“I know I’m dying” I announce as I close my eyes in an attempt to control the pain that was shooting through my body.
“No Lily” my brother denies my words.
“do not lie to me” I softly say to him holding his eyes to mine “ come closer I have something to tell you” I raise my right hand and wrap it round his neck pulling his ear down to my mouth to make sure he could hear me.
“You must not give up” I tell him “find Jonah, I know you don’t trust him but he is not like Eve”
He shakes his head in refusal.
“You must if you wish to survive this” I increase the pressure on his neck to get my point across.
“I don’t want to survive this alone” he cries in to my neck.
“Then I have died for nothing” I counter. “I love you, mom loved you. Fight for us then come join us” with that my last breath escaped between my lips and my hand dropped from around his neck, darkness overtook me and I was no more.

Well I thought I was no more; I looked down at me and noted that I was unmarked and dressed in that bloody night shirt again. I looked around me and I was at the clearing but alone and it looking as peaceful as it did last time it had in my dreams.
“I cannot leave you for a minute can I” I say as I heard a voice behind me I turn around quickly to see Jonah and a blonde woman behind me. Uncaring of who she was I flew into his arms and kissed him deeply. He arms wrap around me and he holds me close, but only briefly before he pulls back ending our kiss.
“Who’s this I ask?” asking Jonah as I look towards the new comer.
“This is Mercy, my sister as you would understand it” he tells me. I step back out of reach and away from this Mercy, distrust painted across my face easy for her to see.
“I am not here to cause you harm, I am hear to met the women who has our eldest brother tied up in knots” she tells me holding her hands up in surrender.
I looked at this tall, blonde haired, athletic women bringing the word Amazon to mind to perfectly describe her. She looked relaxed and was trying to be open and friendly.
“Where am I?” I ask “I thought I was dead” I added concentrating back on Jonah.
“You are more or less” he replies to me as I mouth “oh” at him in understanding, I’m dead, great I thought.
“Well why am I here?”
“I told you once before I don’t want to see you hurt, and the fact that Luc, your brother prayed to me, I heard and I answered” he told me closing the distance between us and holding me close. I held him returning his embrace a few moments before I reluctantly let go and retreated back this time.
“Can you save me then?” I ask them as Mercy comes to stand next to Jonah.
“We are in time but only just” she answers me “but it will hurt and cause you a great deal of pain” she tells me.
“That fine lets go” I readily agree.
“Not so fast” Jonah held his hand up telling me to slow down.
“Jonah can not do this alone, that is why he asked me to come. Returning ones soul back into their body it not easily done especially when rightfully you should be dead.” she tells me holding my gaze to imprint the seriousness of what they were going to do.
“On returning we will still have to heal your body” Jonah adds drawing me back to him.
“And?” I prompt.
“No getting anything passed this one is there” mercy says to Jonah before she speaks to me. “My powers will be running through you as Jonah’s did before, you called it you grace when in fact it was Jonahs powers joining with your own. It will happen again once your healed, prompting further changes to your powers and possibly to your appearance also”
“As long as I don’t turn ginger or grow a second head” I think for a moment “or a tail then I don’t care” I tell them.
“This is not a joke” Mercy scolds me.
“I know that but I do what I must to survive and get through it” all playfulness having left my voice.
“Very well prepare yourself” with Mercy’s last words I exploded in pain.

My whole body felt on fire and as I tried to move, I felt hands hold me down in place, even that sent pain through me. I screamed in agony over and over till my voice cracked and I still screamed in pain silently. I begged and pleaded for the pain to go but it continued. I could hear voices around me some soft and soothing, I even heard voices that seamed like they were arguing but I could focus on them when I did another wave of pain flashed through me making me loose concentration, the pain increased and then I started begging all over again.
I didn’t think I could stand another moment when I heard a voice tell me to sleep. I didn’t need telling twice, the darkness consumed me and I knew no more.

I awoke to expect pain but surprisingly I didn’t I felt fine. I listened around me frightened about what I might see if I looked. I could hear people moving around below me on a lower floor, and soft breathing to my right. I turn my head wondering who the hell was in bed with me; I slowly open my left eye to see the most beautiful green eyes looking back at me.
“Jonah” I breathed huskily and moved to him wrapping my arms tight around bringing his lips down to mine. I feel his arms wrap around me and pull me tight against him. He deepens the kiss and I’m happy to go along with the flow. He turns us so that I’m now on my back with his body nicely placed above mine. His lips leave mine and trail kisses down my neck to my collar bone and back up. My hands roamed over his back to his firm buttocks. He felt strong, he felt right and again he felt like he was mine.
His hands had also been busy and were busy exploring my breasts, I arched into his hand. I could feel stirrings in my core that only he could ignite to life. Too soon he pulls away but doesn’t remove his weight off me.
“As much as I would like to continue with this, we have people downstairs waiting for you, and I don’t want an audience when I finally take you” he tells me.
I kiss him and relax back on the bed, I look round “I’m home” I push him off me in frustration as I sat up. I feel a breeze across my skin and look down to see that I was in that silk night gown again except it was a deep blue colour. “I hate this thing” I said in his direction as I pull hatefully at its hem. I look over at him to see a huge grin on his smug face.
“I like it” he answers me and waved his hand in my general direction I shudder and look quickly down at myself dressed in my usual leather clothing all weapons present, correct and accounted for.
“I did wonder how you did it with out waking me up” I said while looking back at him.
“Now you know” he hopped off the bed and headed towards the door and opened it holding his hand out for me to take it, which I did. Together we headed back to life.
We entered the kitchen Jonah slightly ahead of me, Mercy was busy cooking what I think should have been pancakes I smiled at the sight of a elder god tossing pancakes. Hearing my laugh Mercy looks up giving me smile as if she heard exactly what I had said.
“I did” she answers my thoughts but before I could comment Jonah had propelled me out into the garden. I looked out and it was bright and
