Sensing them coming closer, I immediately turned around and headed back to the pack house. Oh sh-t! I need to tell my Father about this. What are those roques doing to our territory? Didn’t they know that our pack is one of the stongest pack in the country?
As I was running towards the direction of the pack house, I smelt them in that direction. The rogues. So instead of heading that way, I ran towards the town’s direction instead. I ran until I see an opening that leads to the town, and then I bumped into someone. Giving in an “oof” I landed in my butt.
“Oh sh-t! I’m so sorry!” the person she bumped, apologized and held his hand to help her up. “I didn’t know anyone would be here,” said he.
I gladly took his offer, and I felt the electricity. I look up to the person’s face, and it was him. Nicholas.
“Nicholas?”
“Uhmmm Miss Walters? What are you doing here? And at this late night in that dress?” he asked curiosly.
Damn! I need to think of a plan. I just can’t tell him that I’m running away from rogues! Think think…. “Uhmmm…. I was at a party…” I started without stuttering. Smooth. “I went out for some fresh air and a bunch of guys were heading to my direction, sensing that they might be pervs I ran through the forest and here I am,” technically I wasn’t lying, I just didn’t gave him the full detail.
“Well I’m glad you, you’re okay, do you need me to escort you home?” he offered.
I shook my head “I’ll be fine,” and started walking away from him. Ughh… I am so not feeling well right now. What is this feeling I’m having? It’s worse than having my period!
But before I could get a good 3 meter distance away from him, I started getting dizzy and fall on my knees.
“Miss Walters!” I heard someone call me, I couldn’t think of anyone but Nicholas calling me. A wave of pain strike my insides.
“Are you Okay? Hey! Oh damn it! I need to get you to the hospital.”
“N-nno, don’t t-take me to the hospital,” I stuttered.
“But, look at you! You’re not well!” he exclaimed worriedly.
“Just N-no, don’t take me to the hospital…” after that, darkness consumed me.
