Read FICTION books online

Reading books fiction Have you ever thought about what fiction is? Probably, such a question may seem surprising: and so everything is clear. Every person throughout his life has to repeatedly create the works he needs for specific purposes - statements, autobiographies, dictations - using not gypsum or clay, not musical notes, not paints, but just a word. At the same time, almost every person will be very surprised if he is told that he thereby created a work of fiction, which is very different from visual art, music and sculpture making. However, everyone understands that a student's essay or dictation is fundamentally different from novels, short stories, news that are created by professional writers. In the works of professionals there is the most important difference - excogitation. But, oddly enough, in a school literature course, you don’t realize the full power of fiction. sweating and panting. She was gripping her body tightly as pain racked her body, Demetri looked at her.
AIt hurts so much... make it stop,A she cried, tears falling down her face.
It hurt Shin that he couldn=t do anything for her. Demetri looked at the door as he panted as Shin tried to heal Sol, but it wasn=t working. A huge pressure erupted across the hall, sending Shin went to his knees. Demetri almost went to his knees as he gasped loudly.
AWhat is this?@ He wondered.
He kicked open the door and walked inside. A woman with a helmet and armor on was standing by a ball of green, sparkling liquid. The effect wore off and Demetri walked toward the woman. She pulled off her helmet and he gasped as his eyes widened.

@Se.... Selene?!@ Demetri said in shock.
The woman shook her head as he glared at her, and then calmed down. The woman smiled at him and sighed, her eyes seeming to pierce through him.
AHer sister, Leret,A Leret answered.
Demetri remained calm, even though his blood was boiling. His eyes held sadness for her, reminding him of Selene=s death. Demetri made his sword disappear and Leret did too, holding out her hand.
AI never thought I=d see that face again in my lifetime,A he said, smiling a little.
Leret smiled and lowered her hand to her side. Demetri looked away from her in pain, but looked back at her with sadness.
AThe face of your beloved Selene. You know as well as me, that her soul was lost ever since that day,A she said.
Demetri nodded and looked away, eyes closed as his teeth clenched. The woman looked at him sadly and he continued to think of Selene.
AYou were the only one unwilling to accept her death, you=re trapped in her memory,A Leret said smirking, as she pulled out her sword.
Demetri grunted as he blocked her sword, and then pushed her back. She landed on the ground and forced her sword down on him as she smirked.
AShe was worthless, weak and was an outcast, still is! I=m happy she died,A Leret said.
Demetri snapped and pushed her back angrily. He rushed at her and she growled as she held up her sword. Demetri was on the other side of her, claws bloody as he growled.
AHow dare you!@ He growled, pissed off as his aura grew more.
She turned around and gasped as her eyes widened when he rushed at her. He had his hand by her neck and she glared at him as he leaned toward her ear.
AIf you ever insult Selene ever again, I=ll kill you!A he growled and grabbed her arm as his grip tightened.
She gasped and as he snapped her arm. He let go of her arm and made her faint. He walked passed her as he shook the blood off his hand. Suddenly a fireball came at him and he blocked it with his hand as glared through the flames.
His eyes widened as he gasped. Holding Leret, was a man with red hair and violet eyes. It had been five years since he had last saw the man in front of him, thinking he had died.

ALiras!@ Demetri shouted.
Liras smirked and glared at him as he growled angrily. Demetri glared back and growled at the man.
AIt=s been a long time brother!@ Liras shouted, putting Leret gently on the ground.
Liras charged at Demetri and Demetri dodged. He hit Liras in the stomach with his knee. He doubled back and Demetri uppercut him in the jaw.
AYou can=t beat a demon angel Liras. You=re wasting your strength, I surpassed you long ago!@ Demetri shouted, throwing Liras in the air.
Liras caught himself and rushed at Demetri, he disappeared and reappeared behind Leret, hand at her neck. Liras gasped as he spun around as his eyes widened. Demetri picked Leret up by her neck.
ANo don=t!@ Liras screamed rushing at Demetri.
Demetri glared at him, and then looked back at Leret. Liras took a step toward him angrily.
AOne more step and she dies,A Demetri warned as his eyes closed.
Liras stopped and growled, dropping his sword. Demetri looked at him as he glared at his brother. Liras went to his knees, shaking as his eyes closed.
ADemetri, Selene isn=t dead... her soul is still alive,A he said as he opened his eyes.
Demetri gasped as his eyes widened and he dropped Leret. Liras caught her and stood up as he smiled at her.
AWhat?@ Demetri said in shock, going to his knees as his eyes widened.
Liras nodded and walked toward his brother. Liras looked at Demetri as Demetri looked back.
AHer soul is in a chamber somewhere in the west continent. I don=t know where, but she is in a coma, being guarded by Gail=s men and some angels,A Liras told him and disappeared.
Shin and Sol came in and she ran toward Demetri. Shin walked toward him and sighed in exhaustion.
AShe=s alive,A Demetri whispered.
Sol knelt down beside him and Shin knelt in front of him. Demetri smiled and sighed shakily.
AShe=s alive... my Selene,A he cried.

Sol gasped and Shin did too as they smiled happily. Sol was happy for Demetri, now they had to go get her.
AWhere?@ Shin asked.
Demetri shook his head and stood up. Sol and Shin stood up too and looked at him.
AI don=t know, but I will find her,A he said determined.

Chapter 11

Awaken and Power

One year passed and Demetri was standing on a huge cliff. Sol and Shin were behind him as the wind blew.
AIt=s been a year and we=ve searched everywhere for Selene,A Sol thought sadly.
Demetri looked out to the ocean as the moon lit up everything. He wore a black vest shirt and black pants.
ASelene where are you?@ He thought in worry.
They rested for the night and Sol, Shin, and Demetri were fast asleep.
ADemetri,A something echoed in his mind.
He jolted up as he panted, his eyes wide. He sighed shakily and put his hand over his eyes.
AWhat was that?@ He wondered as he got up.
The wind brushed against his skin as his eyes closed and he sighed.
AThese dreams began when Liras told me she was alive, is it just dreams or is she calling to me?@ He asked the wind, opening his amber eyes.
Sol woke up and saw him as she stood up. She walked toward him. She knew that he missed her, she did as well.
ADemetri,A she said.
He looked at her and then back at the sea, gripping his necklace tightly.
AAnother dream?@ She asked, touching his shoulder.
He nodded and glanced at her. She looked at the sea and remembered Selene, then gasped as the wind spoke his name.
AShe=s calling me, but I don=t know where. I can=t seem to follow her voice,A he said sadly as he looked away.
Sol smiled and grabbed his hand as he turned to look at her.

AI can probably tell which direction her voice is coming from. Close your eyes and think of her,A Sol said, closing her eyes.
Demetri closed his eyes and they both concentrated. Sol=s body began to glow a bright blue.
ASelene,A he thought.
A few moments passed and nothing happened. Sol=s wings came out as she concentrated more.
ADemetri,A Selene thought to him.
Sol opened her eyes and grabbed a blue thread. Demetri opened his eyes and gasped as Sol turned to him smiling.
AThis thread will lead us to her, I=m sure of it,A she said.
Demetri=s ran toward the direction the thread led to and Shin stood up. Shin and Sol ran after Demetri as he ran faster.
ASelene!A Demetri thought.
Deep in a chamber was a crystal and a woman was inside. She was wearing a blue dress, her hair down, and a pearl necklace around her neck. The crystal had water around it and it sparkled as the crystal glowed lightly. The guards came in and one angel walked to the crystal and shocked it.
AThat is the only way to shut her up. Only angels can hurt souls,A the angel said and they all left.
Demetri continued to follow the thread, his eyes glowing as he ran faster. Sol and Shin were far behind him now.
ASelene I=m coming!A he thought.
Memories flashed through his head and he smiled.
AI=m coming Selene, I promise,A he whispered.
Back in the chamber the angels and men came in. They had swords in hand with tubes attached to the swords. The angels put the swords into the crystal with the tubes attached and went to a machine, pressing buttons.
ANow one angel and one man put their blood on the tubes,A the angel said as he concentrated.
They formed a circle around the crystal and their bodies began to glow. The crystal glowed a bright yellow as the angel pressed a button and the whole chamber lit up. The woman=s wings came out and they were glowing. The crystal shocked her, she was still in a coma, but her mind could feel everything.
Demetri saw the cave and flew toward it. He heard Selene scream his name in his head and ran faster in fear. Demetri burst into the chamber sword raised.

AStop him!@ One angel shouted.
The angels stopped the ceremony and rushed at Demetri. He killed two and dodged the rest, getting cut up in the process. Shin and Sol rushed at the controls and being blocked by angels and men on the way.
ASelene!@ He shouted, running toward the crystal.
Two angels stabbed him and he screamed in pain. Selene=s fingers twitched a little as Demetri was forced into a wall, grunting at the pain. Sol rushed at the angel controlling everything. Shin killed the angels who were at Demetri and Demetri panted.
The angel at the controls pushed a black button and black, red liquid rushed into the crystal. Selene=s mind screamed in pain and Demetri growled as a huge aura burst from him. He went around the chamber killing all the men and angels. Sol battled the angel at the controls and smashed the machine.
She struck her sword into his heart and pined him to a wall as it chuckled.
AYou=re too late!A it sneered and died.
Demetri had killed all the angels and black vines came out of the crystal. They wrapped around and onto Selene=s soul.
ASelene!@ Demetri shouted as his eyes widened.
Selene=s eyes opened and they were hazy as Demetri gasped.
ANo...A he whispered.
The crystal broke and she landed feet first on the ground. Demetri looked determined and walked toward her. She smirked and black vines went at him, missing him by a few inches, but scratching his arms.
AI lost hope in you. You were weak!@ Selene shouted and more vine like hands went at him.
Three hit him and he grunted as he was thrown into a wall.
AI believed in you, but.... you didn=t come to me when I needed you!@ She shouted and more came at him.
They struck him, but he continued to walk toward her. He was in front of her as she growled and raised her black hand. She struck her hand through his chest and the black was coming out of his back.
