"Don't think too much, it will blow over soon," he said and I nodded.

"People would find other things to talk about, and you would be forgotten," Jessica said while eating her salad.

"That's what I'm saying. Wow, Jessica, you have a noggin," Cora said, popping strawberries in her mouth. Fleur smacked her arm.

"What? I thought queen-bees have pea sized brain, but Jessica proved me wrong, Good job, honey," Cora said sarcastically, Fleur looked at her with what-the-fuck look, but she just shrugged innocently.

"I'm still not talking to you," I glared at them but they only scoffed.

The chair beside me scraped, and Alpha Xavier sat down, placing his tray beside mine.

Soon, everyone started talking. Noah and I were arguing about how Spiderman is better than Iron man.

"You're only saying because he's hot," Noah scoffed, just as I was arguing back, someone very rudely interrupted me.

"Done," Alpha Xavier asked while narrowing his eyes.

I stuck out my tongue to Noah and left with Alpha Xavier. I followed Alpha Xavier's fast strides, almost tripping. He opened the door of his black sleek car, and my eyes went wide. Did he open the door for me?  I sat inside, mumbling a thank you.

He has been behaving strangely since the day I came back, especially after the puppies episode. He waits for me at the breakfast table, he waits for me in the morning, picks and drops me off from school, and has been asking about my days and everything.

"How are your parents,"? He asked and I smiled at the mention of my parents. And that's how we babbled till we reached the packhouse.

He stopped In Front of the packhouse, I tried opening the door, but it won't. I looked at him dubiously, only to see he was staring at me intensely.

"We need to talk," he said.

"About," I asked, muddled.

"About us, love," he said with friskiness.

Just as he opened his mouth to speak, my phone started ringing. I looked at it to see Noah was calling. Looking back at Alpha Xavier, he glanced at my phone and got out of the car.

So guys, how's the chapter?

• Yesterday, a lovely reader of mine, asked me why my book isn't paid? I didn't know what to answer. And she said it should be paid, and she will pay for every chapter. I was speechless after that, I've seen readers throwing fuss about the book being paid, but mine wants mine to be paid. Thank you so much, all this love means aload to me 🥺❤️

For now, I wants to focus on SORDINO, so, the updates will be late. Hope, you guys can understand.

Please vote, comment, follow and share. I'd appreciate it. Love Y'all's ❤️🤗
