                         -----------------------------

You and I, we are embers from the same fire, dust from the same star, echoes of the same love!

                          ----------------------------

Ava's POV:

Today's Sunday means no school. I smiled sleepily and turned to the other side. I was about to douse in the sleep turf when the noise monster started crying. Ignoring it, I pulled the duvet over my body and tried to sleep again.

I was halfway through la-la land when the noise monster jangled again. Argh! Puffing I sat down and glanced at the phone.

THREE MUS-CAT-TEARS 🐻

"Hmmmmm," I answered the call half-dead.

"Hello," Fleur answered in her gravelly voice.

"Wakey-Wakey lovelies," Cora shouted through the phone and I groaned.

"Did Shawn Mendes got married,"? I asked.

"No," Cora said.

"Did aliens attack the earth,"? I asked.

"No," Cora said. I can imagine her squinting her brows in confusion.

"Did you finally accept that you're bi,"? I asked.

"No," Cora said confused.

"Wait, wh-what," she asked and Fleur laughed.

"Exactly nothing like that happened so stop disturbing my sleep," I growled. Fleur was laughing so hard.

"You bitch, I'm straight," Cora shouted, and I smirked.

"Leave her Cora. You know how she gets when someone disturbs her sleep," Fleur said still laughing.

"Yes, she's an innocent cow, but when someone disturbs her sleep, she became a dragon in heat," Cora laughed.

"Wake up Ava," Cora yelled.

"What happened Cora,"? Fleur asked.

"We're going out," Cora said.

"Where,"? Fleur asked confused.

"For a girl's day out," Cora puffed.

"Since the day, you both met your mates, you forgot about me. We didn't even have a girl's day out," Cora wined. I smiled and regret filled my gut. I was so busy in my life that I forgot about her. She's alone, I know she misses her mate. She smiles with everyone but her eyes say the pain behind that bright smile.

"We'll go," Fleur said. I know she's mirroring my thoughts.

"Duh, of course, we are," Cora said and we all laughed. After talking for a few more minutes, I went to the washroom to get ready for the day.

I wore a beautiful flowery turtle neck dress. Taking my phone, I went downstairs. While walking down, I bumped into someone and my phone slipped from my hands.

"Sorry," I mumbled without looking at the person and bend down to pick up my phone.

"You should be careful or else you'll be sorry," the person said and I looked up at her. Why do I feel like she has a double meaning to her words? I looked at her, she's an old lady. I had never seen her before. Before I can ask anything, she turned around and left. Shrugging, I went to the kitchen and saw an Omega cooking something.

"Hey," I said and she looked at me. She smiled and started doing her work. I noticed how her body was tensed.

"Are you okay,"? I asked.

"Yes, Madam," she said and I looked at her in surprise.

"You can call me Ava," I smiled and she nodded. She has beautiful baby blue eyes and an innocent aura around her but, there's a strange glint in her eyes. Not wanting to make her any more uncomfortable, I took an apple and went towards the door.

Quickly turning around, I again went towards her.

"Is this for Luna," I asked.

"No, it's for master Xavier," She said and I looked at the plate. She has made tuna sandwiches and sweet potato fries. I remembered last night an omega ordered tuna for Alpha Xavier, but the mall was running out of it so, they send only one can. Smirking evilly, I took the one sandwich and took a huge bite. Moaning at the taste, I looked at the omega, who was looking at me with wide eyes.

"Tell master Xavier, sharing is caring," I winked at her frozen state and left from there.

Munching on the sandwich, I went towards Fleur's room and knocked on it. After five minutes, she opened the door, looking already beautiful in her fresh green short dress.

"Hey Luna," she teased and I choked on the sandwich. Quickly taking a deep breath, I glared at her, while she just laughed.

"Ready," I asked and she nodded before jesting behind her. I looked behind her to see that Beta Daniel was sitting on the bed, sulking.

"What happened,"? I whispered to her.

"He has been sulking since last night when I told him about our girls' day out. He thinks other unmated males will look at me," Fleur snickered, and I giggled.

"Okay baby, we'll leave now," she said winking at me and Beta Daniel growled loudly. Laughing I asked her to talk to him while I'll wait outside. She came out after ten minutes, her lips were swollen. I winked at her and she blushed.

We left for the mall, Cora was already waiting there, blowing out phones with her non-stop texts. We reached after half an hour and headed inside.

"Finally," Cora sighed dramatically and we both hugged her tightly.

We did little shopping, I brought some skin-care products, and a pair of shirts, Cora brought mini skirts and dresses, while Fleur went to Victoria's secret. Cora winked at me and we both laughed.
