AUTHOR'S POV:
SOMEWHERE...
A lady was sitting by the window, sipping on her coffee. She was gazing outside of the window to the grand garden. She was running her eyes over everything when a small knock came from the door.
"Kom der yn," the lady muttered and a petite woman entered the room.
"Mefrou," the woman bowed down, and the lady scuffed. She scrunched her nose in disgust and looked away. She hates poor people. According to her, they're only good to clean rich and high-class people's poo. The woman was standing silently while gazing at the floor. She was trembling badly. She knew what this she-devil is capable of. She flickered her fingers, signaling the woman to start talking.
"Mefrou, she has started living with him. And...," The lady raised her hand making the woman stop talking.
"Is he taking the magic potion,"? The lady asked and the woman fell silent. The lady turned around and the woman gasped at the look in her eyes. Her eyes were blazing in fury. The woman gulped. Her heart was thumping wildly.
"I asked if he taking the magic potion,"? The lady yelled making the woman flinch.
'Nee...," Before the woman can complete her sentence, she was on the ground.
"I gave you a small task, and you have the guts to fail me? Tsk tsk, now you have to bear the consequences," the lady smirked evilly. The woman kneeled before her and touched her feet, begging for mercy but, the lady jerked her away.
"I had warned you," the lady sang while circling the woman. The lady went towards the window and smirked at the woman, the woman followed her line of sight and saw two guards holding her two years old son. The poor soul was crying, but the guards were having none of it.
"Genede," the woman cried while holding her hands. The lady laughed at her. The woman's heart was jackhammering. Her head was spinning. Her heart was shattering into pieces, seeing her son in the arms of death. Tears of helplessness rain from her eyes.
"Weakling," The lady laughed and the woman watched as the guards tied the hands of the child and threw him in a pigeon's cage. These weren't ordinary pigeons. They're deadly, trained to kill.
"NO," the woman's heart broke seeing her son in the cage. Her heart was crying, thumping in her chest. She choked on the air. She was yelling for the guards to let her son go. The lady was laughing seeing her devastated state.
The woman ran to the door, and clasped the door handle to, but before she can open it. The loud voice of the nefarious lady stopped her.
"Your daughter is adorable and your husband...," the lady smirked and licked her lips. The woman turned around and went towards her.
"I'll do anything. Just give me a chance. Please spare my family," the woman hold her hands as tears were streaming from her eyes.
"Awwww why are you crying? Do I look like evil to you," the lady said and wiped her tears away.
"Last chance, you fail, you lose your precious family," the lady clasped her hair tightly and whispered in her ear. The woman nodded rapidly. The lady took a step back and went towards her closet. She was far from kind, but she somewhat needs the woman. No one can be trusted like her. And she needs her for this task. Taking out the thing she was looking for, she went towards the woman, who was looking outside at her son, who was now free.
"Mix two drops of this potion in his meals, and remember one mistake, and your family...," the lady trailed off making the woman nod rapidly. The woman looked at the bottle, it has a purple potion inside it and was glowing. Keeping it inside her inner pocket, she bowed. The lady dismissed her with her fingers. The lady turned around to the window and gazed outside at the cages of birds.
"Soon," she whispered and smirked evilly.
IN THE PACK HOUSE:
"Mate," Zion whispered lovingly and hugged Ava. He nuzzled her neck, and she gasped. Every time he showered her with his love, she finds her lost self back. Wrapping her arms around him, she hugged him tightly. Placing her head on his chest, she closed her eyes and listened to the rhythm of his heartbeat. She sighed in contentment. They stood there hugging each other. Ava slowly pulled away making him growl.
"You need to change Zion," Ava said while running her fingers in his hair making him crazy. He whined but Ava glared at him. She turned around to go to the wardrobe and gasped when he hugged her from behind. Sj shook her head at her silly mate and started looking in his clothes while the gorilla was glued to her.
"Here," She said giving him his clothes. She smiled when he huffed taking the clothes from her.
Ava came outside of the wardrobe and sat on the bed, waiting for her mate. She was looking busy in her thoughts when her phone pinged. She opened her phone and saw a text from Jessica. She has sent their meeting place. Ava was still confused as to why she wanted to meet her. Is it because of Noah? Or Alpha Xavier? She was busy in her thoughts when someone hugged her from behind. She gasped and looked back to see that the culprit was snickering at her. She shook her head at him and he snickered loudly.
"Mate," he said lovingly.
