“Why look at me with such haste?” she asked.
“If you knew what your daughter done to me, you’d understand,” I said and mustered up the strength to get up. There was small, puddle of blood where I sat.
“Then hate her, not me,” she said and she had a point.
“Just so you know, I’m going to kill her. Just figured I would let you know,” I said and limped over to where they were. I didn’t care that I was naked, I wanted to move.
“If she took part in doing this to you, she rightfully deserves it.” One of the other witches said, who looked twice as old as Mer-Alz-Azkiban said.
Mer-Alz-Azkiban’s mother put her head down, she knew her daughter was doomed. She nodded and then told the others to get the spell underway. I was informed to lay on the ground, my arms and legs pointing in each direction. They made little fires at each extremity, each time they lit one, they named an element, then when they built a fire at my head, they called upon “Spirit.” The three witches stood around me with Lucifer at my head. He cut his hand, then told me to open my mouth. He let a few drops of his blood in my mouth, and the taste was bitter, like grapefruit and stagnant water mixed together.
“Focus on something happy, this is going to hurt,” Lucifer said.
“Great!” I said sarcastically. I shut my eyes as the witches started to chant and focused on something happy. The only thing that made me happy that last couple of days was murdering those three men, then I thought of all the murdering I was going to do. Abakanazar, Mer-Alz-Azkiban, and most importantly Al Hubarb. He was going to suffer the most before he died.
I blacked out and all that hate and suffering I had felt, coursed through my veins, it replaced the once pure blood I had. I went into a seizure, I convulsed violently, what mortal blood was in me I spewed out, it shot out and coated the reddish-brown of the rock wall. I sat up and watch as blood flaked away from my white hair, which seemed to be whiter than before. The pains that I were feeling went away and I got up.
I felt different, I felt a lot of hate, yet I felt magnificent I smiled and looked at Lucifer and the witches. I should go ahead and say this, these witches were more Satanist than witches, not all witches turned to Lucifer and not all are bad. Just those three seemed to do things for Lucifer and I believe they’re the reason the whole witches and Satan thing started, but that’s a different story for a different time.
“How do you feel?” Lucifer asked.
“Reborn!” I said.
“There are somethings,” Mer-Alz-Azkiban mother said, with a smile on your here, “Only a witch can hurt you, granted with Lucifer’s blood your immortal, but before, spells couldn’t hurt you, we couldn’t hurt you. You hurt my daughter, I will hurt you,” she said.
“Clever!” I said, but I had already planned the three witch’s death in my head.
“How dare you betray my trust?” Lucifer said, madder than I was.
“Not only his but ours, you said knew about it,” The eldest said.”
“You betrayed the trust of coven. There will be a trial when you get back. Lucifer, we are sorry,” one apologized for all of them.
“Oh, you will be sorry,” I spoke without meaning too.
“Roldian, let me handle this!” Lucifer said, “remember they can harm you now.”
“They can try! But by all means, since you’ve had a great handle on things all along, continue handling this,” my hate shining through. A filter had been removed from me when I came back.
He gave me hurtful look and went to talk to the witches, but with the quickness of a lightning strike, they were gone. Lucifer looked back at me, “What have I done?”
“You took care of your son,” I said.
“Like you said, I didn’t really have a great handle on things with you, but between protecting you, trying to keep and eye on Derium and Mylicious, I lost tract. I knew I needed you to find Lilith, I even told them that, but they got a taste for blood.”
“As so do I, now. I’m just letting you know I cannot guarantee Derium’s life.” I said.
“I don’t blame you, I can’t for the life of me, kill him myself.”
“I wouldn’t ask you to father,” the word “father” just rolled out of my mouth. It was first time I referred to someone as father that wasn’t Jehovah. It brought a smile to his face, “I will do it for you,” I said, and the smile dwindled.
“What will kill Lilith, take her head? Her heart? What do I need to do?”
He transformed in front of me, the reached up and snapped the curved part of his horn off, which instantly regrew, “Only I, or a piece of me can kill her, you have to take her heart out or bleed her out. She will sense it though, so be quick.”
“She can’t sense me though right?”
“She shouldn’t be able to,” he said and handed me the horn piece.
“Okay,” I said and used sharp point of the horn to cut myself open by my ribs. I reached in and with much pain, snapped off a piece of my rib and tossed it on the ground, I put the horn where my rib use to be and watched as my body healed up, sealing the horn inside of me, “That should mask it.” I said.
Lucifer just stood there in his natural form, a look of amazement on his face, “I have a change of clothes
