This is a monologue I wrote about suicide and depression for my Drama assessment last year. I first tried to find a monologue on the internet to do but I didn't like any of them and they weren't long enough so I started puting bits and pieces of different monologues together and showed my teacher. She thought it was too dark for school so I changed it to be more upbeat and with hope and here it is.

Nightmares are just horrible dreams that you wake up from but what if you not meant to wake up. Lincoln Boyd has been having bad dreams. He can only escape them as long as he awake but how long can insomnia last before it becomes insanity and your dreamworld enters into what you think your real life is.
