Charred Dreams

Ajar nature's doors opened wide

instilling high spirits

on untrodden tracks

winding its way up the hill...

unfamiliar footfalls

gained momentum

to crush nature on its way....

 

Dried leaves and twigs

along dangling tree branches

with engulfed climbers and creepers

built thick pyres to be laid...

 

Warm noon air dazzled

through hot rays of Sun

searching for a spot

to trickle a game of fire....

 

Waiting stealthily

to capture those seconds

who triggered those tiny sparks

to engulf so many lives later?

 

Knowingly or unknowingly

what lead them into a death trap

that charred their dreams forever.....

 

Within seconds those tiny sparks

grew into stretched tongues of fire

cooked both flesh and bones -

eating lives on its way...

 

Rescued from fiery tongues of fire

peeled survivors dangled life and death.....

Is it right to think

blessed are the dead

for they were deprived of the pain

to survive before they breathed their last.....

 

Nothing could have saved them

except their destiny that sustained

with good deeds, thoughts, and lives...

 

Whatever it may be - now and then

Nature sends in the warning

never tamper with someone

who will not react at the first instance

but will give you back in multiples

that could leave you stumped forever....

On Women Abuse

At heart I could hear those silent voices

that echo the moments of being alone

suffering to the core, with none to share

 

though literate..but downtrodden

worn away in numbing silence

they spend their lives in pain...

 

being alive as a female

no more a healthy choice

for perverted minds live here

behind hidden masks of men

roaming around hideously

with a prominent disgusting note

 

Helpless are those innocent souls

who bear the brunt of untold violence

makes me doubt once again -

Up & Down stairs

Laboriously splashed

stream of water flows

seamlessly on stairs

with every step I climb to.

 

Speckles of dust

cling onto the surface

leaving stubborn stains

that exist to mark

exhilarating karma effects.

 

Unfeatured seconds of splashing

take away those tough stains

straining my nerves at hand

Taking me to heights above

those little specks of dust

cringe at drops of water.

 

Restless I complain and rant

making everything gloomy at home!

Will this ordeal end soon

and go away before I swoon?

Induced Errors

 

Resembling bubbles escaping

stagnated pools down the lane

now and then they pop up -

induced errors stealthily appear

marred lines of thoughts

pitch into disheveled brain

sending down a wave of pain -

unnoticed negative vibes

negotiate every now and then

to set mimes of unknown blunder

seconds lost in unnumbered tasks

strive to build arid feelings

that would set my heart on fire

evading ways to be there again!

Body Shaming

 

Every body has a charm

that nobody can deny!

Skinny or bony or chubby

fleshy or non-fleshy

human minds tend to grace

a pleasing persona to eyes!

brainy or non-brainy

moments capture likes

only for those figures

that trigger your sensual nerves!

Though everything in place

many times fail to win

a love heart that turns grimace!

Lulled to the tune of lust

moments turn to disgrace

evoke stinging body shaming!

while nothing is there to degrade

humans tend to body shame

pricking hearts with pain

shattering seconds not to gain

what a life should bring in

Peace and love at heart!

Discard discord now

 

Is it not the right time

to discard discord now?

Suffocated to the core

Nature is now at the brink

to throw up and dismantle

thorns on the way

to be on reign once again!

Worse are human days

for they pollute

even lightening rays!

Bringing thunder to your doorstep

it has become too late to discuss

Monitoring elements swirl fast

to bring doom to a peaceful life.

Poisoned drops of water

soak the soil with a cursed touch

Being devoid of pure air to breathe

molten lave peeps into blue sky

a warning written for earthlings!
