for all dear; and will you please leave my bungalow forever” And that was her last conversation with Dr. Jasmine.

“How painful it is to hear from you Madam? I don’t understand what great sin have I committed Madam?” Dr. Jasmine was upset with her behaviour.

In reply Miss. Hasina showed her the way out from her bungalow.

“I should thank you Madam. And at the same time I must remember you forever as the one and the only example in the world for true and sincere love” She openly commented her, rather spoke out very frankly from the bottom of her heart ironically, as she felt sad over her behaviour and attitude.

And she finally left her. Dr. Jasmine never expected that Hasina would disown Mr. Gentleman especially when he was in troubled waters. She felt very bad over her inconsistency in understanding him and about her double standards.

Her mind was still lingering round Miss. Hasina, as she had still fond hope on her that she would definitely try to save her childhood fiancĂ©, but she took all together a U turn. But now at this stage she couldn’t understand her mind.

“Poor girl you have understood Mr. Gentleman only, but you have failed to understand me. You have even never known that I only try this case; and your presence would certainly create suspicion both in the eyes of the judiciary, police, media and public over my trial and finally the judicial hierarchy may be forced to transfer the case to some other court; and the latter may fix him due to the developments; and he will be deprived off the principles of natural And you don’t know my heartfelt feelings and emotions as how am I to save him Dr. Jasmine?” She was feeling in her heart, but couldn’t come out.

Ever since she came to know that the Chairman and MD of GM. Group of Companies, Mr. Gentleman was remanded to judicial custody in the most heinous crime of the year, she could not control her feelings and emotions, though she tried. Tears dropped from her checks, and she felt some discomfort and uneasiness in her chest and consequently she suffered from giddiness; and she collapsed on the floor. And luckily the servant made noticed her and admitted her in the hospital.

Chapter: 24

It is a misnomer if anybody says that the judges are above passions, human feelings and emotions. In some cases, where there is serious public agitation, and media keeps its eye, shows much more focus on such cases, and where there is going to be serious law and order problem cropping up for the government, the judges may lose balance in judging the cases perfectly and judiciously. In fact they are more scared by inhibitions and mere gossips. One such heinous crime was that of the minor girl’s rape followed by murder, wherein the accused was Mr. Gentleman, and industrialist and one of the top ten billionaires in the world. Miss. Hasina was an exception to the general human emotions and feelings. She knows for her integrity, honesty and dutifulness. She was never been influenced by anybody, either by her herirarchy or politicians, but known for her toughness.

Chapter: 25

“Generally, the last desire of the person, who is awarded death sentence will be fulfilled sir, but in the reverse I will obligate you to fulfil my request demand; and further I also dare to remind you that earlier you promised to do any favour or help to me in your life time; and now that time has come and I heart fully request you to have a go with me sir” Dr. Jasmine pleaded rather requested him.

“I could understand your feelings Jasmine. But, please follow my elderly advice. Marry your fiancĂ© Dr. Raj and lead happy life”

“My fiancĂ© is neither a gentleman nor a true lover of mine nor caring about me. Even I have frankly told him all about you also, he has misunderstood me and he has not believed me but he suspected me. Then how can you expect him to marry me sir? Of course even if is convinced also I will never marry him”

“Strange! Have you forgotten that you both are lovers since six years dear, but still you wanted to belittle him for one reason or the other, please never do that”

“Because you are so kind and gentle, besides a nobleman, you never undermine anybody. But he feels himself super- human being and he is the one and the only flawless man in this universe; belittles and considers others as they do not have characters. In fact, he puts a test for me as Lord Rama kept for his queen Sita, only to accept me into his life. And you know the modern test in this 21st century in his own words is that I must undergo a medical test to prove my virginity sir” She spoke quite emotionally.

“Sorry dear it is but natural; anybody can suspect the woman who worked under me, as how could they escape from my outraging their modesty in view of the recent heinous crime in which I have been involved? It is not his fault; it is perhaps my criminal record that might have hurt him and made him to have second thoughts. Please bring him to me dear, I will convince him and see that you both are getting married”

“Sorry sir to say no to your advice, as there should not arise any suspicion over one’s own fiancĂ© or fiancĂ©e especially regarding conduct and character. I feel very sorry because after knowing me and my conduct for the last six years of our co education, both in the medical college and in the medical university also, he has no belief in me and my character. And his attitude, respect towards spinsters, and finally his conduct and behaviour make me lose faith in love and its sanctity” Dr. Jasmine broke out with her emotions.

“It is easy to misunderstand, but it is quite difficult to convince. Please don’t hurt him anymore Jasmine. I am sorry to say perhaps you might have been over influenced by our master - servant relation and consequent it’s loyalty. But now I honestly suggest that you better first come out from that trance, look at me in the position of a common man for a while; then you will definitely judge me; and my image will go down as a dirty criminal, having committed most heinous crime. Now I think you could better understand your fiancĂ© Dr. Raj and definitely you must honour his love and affection for you. Please go and do what I say now dear”

“Sorry sir, I have lost hopes. I know him well better than anybody else”

“Please try once Jasmine at least as a token of respect towards your MD and showing some gratitude towards this grand old man dear”

“Okay sir as you said great words I will definitely go to him, try my best to bring him to you, but if he refuses to oblige, I expect your good self to promise me to accept my request and please don’t say no to my demand”

“I hope you will not get your demand fulfilled and I am confident that he would definitely come to me. Anyway you please stay back, because I can’t trust a girl with a prejudiced mind, and I will send a word for him”

“No sir, he is not a VVIP, and you need not give him that importance. And I further request you”

“Sorry dear no more discussion over that issue as it is over. Dr. Jasmine please do what I say” He said firmly.

She just nodded her head and the MD called the driver and along with him sent the head HR to convince and bring Dr. Raj to him for interaction.

Chapter: 26

There was buzzer sound. It was the house of the Mrs. Janakiram. The children went to convent and her mother has gone to market.

Mrs. Janakiram was taking head bath under shower; the buzzer was continuously ringing. She was unable to understand who had come at this odd hour. It was 1000hrs, Mr. Ram had gone to office and children to convent, but she could not predict who was there outside the entrance door. She immediately dressed herself and opened the door.

Surprisingly, there were Ram’s mother Mrs. BharathiDevi, his sister Mrs. Sobha and his brother in law Mr. Rahul, and his brother Mr. Laxman, standing outside. She just became voiceless and simply invited them to come in and showed them sofas to sit, through mere gestures only.

They all came in without any expression or spell out any word and simply sat in the sofas. When the mother of Ram tried to talk to her, but it was Rahul who intervened and took the lead.

“I do not know what to address you, but as we all understood that you are kept mistress of Mr. Ram, may be you might have been hoodwinked by Mr. Ram, or you might have trapped him knowingly that he is already married to Mrs. Ritu and is father of two kids, only for the reasons best known to you. Gone is gone we are not finding fault with you, but to prove yourself that you are not for grabbing anything from us, you have to do one thing, may be a favour or otherwise” He took some pause.

She was unable to understand what for they all have come to her home for the first time and asking for a favour? What is that favour or what he meant by the last word ‘otherwise?’

“It is me asking you again, please say yes or no” Mr. Rahul again insisted her.

She now opened her mouth for the first time in the presence of the family members of Mr. Ram.

“I will bring coffee” So saying she turned towards the kitchen.

“No, sorry we have not come for coffee or to see your curtsies. But, we have come here to remind you to decide yourself, whether you want to be with Mr. Ram or not. If you say yes please ask him to relinquish his position of Chairmanship and Managing Director of the Gentlemen group of companies, if not we presume that you have only trapped him for property. Now decide at once as we have no time” Mrs. BharathiDevi asked her point blank.

She did not waste any more time, but reacted to her mother in law spontaneously.

“I promise you madam, I will not only make Mr. Ram to resign for Chairmanship and MD of the GM. Group of Companies but also not to claim any share in your properties; and further disowning the legal rights in his ancestral properties; and also my children will not claim single paisa from your properties, provided if you can get divorce from his second wife, who is staying in your home illegally. And for your kind information and clarification as you all were unable to name my relation with Mr. Ram, but I am telling you the truth and the fact that I am his legally wedded wife; we married in registrar’s office and I begot a son and a daughter through him even before his second marriage with the present lady, whom you consider as legal wife. Now I hope you all might have understood my position in your family and please withdraw the word ‘kept mistress’ to me and I am sorry to remind you all again and again to think better to whom it really refers?” She said quite obediently and politely with a pleasant smile on her face, as her wish had been fulfilled, i.e. she could see all the family members of Ram had stepped into her home.

They were shocked on hearing her .Mrs. Sobha understood her stand and retaliated at once. “You third rated lady. Joined in the guise of Personal Secretary to my dad and trapped my innocent brother for money and position; and now how dare are you to claim equal status in our family? It only shows that you are trying to claim
