One of the ancients, once said that poetry is "the mirror of the perfect soul." Instead of simply writing down travel notes or, not really thinking about the consequences, expressing your thoughts, memories or on paper, the poetic soul needs to seriously work hard to clothe the perfect content in an even more perfect poetic form.
On our website we can observe huge selection of electronic books for free. The registration in this electronic library isn’t required. Your e-library is always online with you. Reading ebooks on our website will help to be aware of bestsellers , without even leaving home.

What is poetry?

Reading books RomanceThe unity of form and content is what distinguishes poetry from other areas of creativity. However, this is precisely what titanic work implies.
Not every citizen can become a poet. If almost every one of us, at different times, under the influence of certain reasons or trends, was engaged in writing his thoughts, then it is unlikely that the vast majority will be able to admit to themselves that they are a poet.
Genre of poetry touches such strings in the human soul, the existence of which a person either didn’t suspect, or lowered them to the very bottom, intending to give them delight.

There are poets whose work, without exaggeration, belongs to the treasures of human thought and rightly is a world heritage. In our electronic library you will find a wide variety of poetry.
Opening a new collection of poems, the reader thus discovers a new world, a new thought, a new form. Rereading the classics, a person receives a magnificent aesthetic pleasure, which doesn’t disappear with the slamming of the book, but accompanies him for a very long time like a Muse. And it isn’t at all necessary to be a poet in order for the Muse to visit you. It is enough to pick up a volume, inside of which is Poetry. Be with us on our website.

TEARDROPS PUBLISHING

I’ve been through many obstacles throughout my whole life. I’ve endured my journey at times physically, mentally, through men, with friends, abandonment and with self-esteem issues. This book represents the map of discovering me and understanding my mind.

Some people exercise or play an instrument to receive their spiritual feeding, I chose writing and singing. I feel an anointing every time I do both. It helps me to deal with the anxieties of life.

Because it’s known that people feed off of each other, I hope and pray that this book will pull a little bit of me out of you. Expect to be wowed by My Soul’s Song. I represent a generation whose talents have captivated the world. I am destined to puncture the universe piercing it in its side screaming, “I… am… here.”

I want you to light scented candles and have a glass of wine while reading the freaky poems and I want you to feel enlightened while reading my inspirational poems.

For the rest of My Soul’s Song, feel free to read them ALOUD to whoever will listen. I’m inspired by everyday people who just want someone to listen to them. I get my inspiration from my aunt, my mother and my godson.

I thank God everyday for my many gifts and I know that I can do all things through God; who strengthens me.

Amen…

This book is dedicated to my mother Myrna,
My Aunt Marva and my granny, Canella

CHASE
I love you, I love you.
You are my world.
How can something, someone so small; be so special?
Sweet heart you have brought me joy since you came into my life.
My heart flutters and my eyes water because of disbelief, I have found what completes me.
I am happy, joyous and filled with glee.
My special child you have set my soul free.
I awake each day excited to see your brand new face.
I love you, I love you.
My baby, believe that you were meant for me.
My special child,
Chase.

Love in a hurry
You can never love in a hurry, only to satisfy your ego.
You can never love in a hurry, only to pacify somebody.
Your limbs must be ready to stretch wide.
Love is a sacrifice, it’s within the will.
Love is self devotion, love heals.
You can never love in a hurry, you must have civility.
Finding love in a person takes time,
However, you can hate your neighbor with a blink of an eye.
You must knead your heart, with someone who is willing.
You must knead your heart with a worthy human being.
Communion not sojourn.
A real love always.
You can never love in a hurry.

When I walked through the door

When I walked through the door,
He takes me by the hand then places it around his waist, a smile then glows upon my face.
Baby then says,
“Where is my kiss?”
My lips quiver at the thought of his.
I love this black man’s kiss!
When our lips touch, passion erupts and my love trickles down the walls of my panties.
I enjoy feeling his heart beat as he squeezes me closely.
“I’ve missed you; I just wanted you to know.”
He looks at me then smiles while slipping off my shirt.
My body begins to shiver anticipating his girth.
Baby’s lips hug my nipples just right as he run his fingers up and down my spine.
Then he squats to his knees making me feel so sexy.
He unbuttons my jeans then glides his tongue on the seam of my panties.
Damn!
He throws my leg over his shoulder, his tongue spins like a torpedo in motion.
My goodness I can’t stay focused I really don’t want to fall on his face,
but then he lays me down and begins his lovemaking.

Bells will be ringing!

Bells will be ringing!
The church choir will be singing.
I’ve been dreaming of this day.
Water in your eyes makes me believe that this is it; this is where I should be.
“Baby Love, will this last for eternity?”
I wonder as you stare in to my eyes.
I’m imaging our future, white sands on beaches,
With sky scrappers at our feet; in the heat of breath.
I smile because I’m at peace.
Give me your promise that this burning desire will always continue.
You and I.
Yes, I promise this heart, this body this mind to you forever.
These wedding bands represent a covenant that must stay true.
Love so strong bounded by God, we have work to do.
To have and to hold.
Through sickness and in health.
And for richer or for poorer.
Boy I love you with out wealth.
Until your last tooth is gone, I’ll be still holding on till death do us part.
I am for you.
May this treasure be taken notice; I am the one that you have chosen.
You glide your fingers across my cheek wiping my tears away you say,
“Baby you make me so happy.”
As you smile and stare at me, my lips full of love, kiss yours, sealing our bond for an eternity.

Evergreen’s Love

As the autumn winds blow leaves fall from the Evergreen’s limbs.
The Sun shines behind the clouds desperately trying to break through.
Because he knows his rays are the tree’s reason for living.
While the Evergreen’s leaves wither away the Sun cries,
Realizing the life they once shared will never be the same.
The winter air blows, snows of sadness land upon the weeping Evergreen.
Sun is nowhere to be found, has he given up or is trying to stay away,
“I need you!” cried Evergreen.
“Like the sun to water, I need you to warm me.
I need you to breathe unto me, bring me back to life.”
As the days became shorter and the nights longer,
The beautiful Evergreen’s stock began to shed their camellias and her hopes of ever finding love has only made her sicker in her heart and mind.
“I am crying to you Sun, though you are so far away.”
Sometimes I think that I can feel your rays.
But when I turn to see all that is found is my mind playing tricks on me.
Is this the end, my beloved Sun?
Am I nothing to you, when many seasons ago I was your every thing?
My sweet Sun, are your warm rays not meant for me, but for someone else?
Please don’t let my roots feel the ache of heartbreak.
Let me know if this horrible fate is to be true.
Even though my sweet sun I will always be here for you.

He loves me

He loves me, he cares
He knows my insecurities, my flaws
He doesn’t mind them at all.
I am his.
Anxiety would kick in when he’d ask to rub my feet.
Because of child hood surgeries and deformities
I’d quickly snatch them away with tears leaping from my face.
He’d say that he loves me he cares he knows my flaws
He doesn’t mind them at all; scares decorate my body forever and a day
But he loves me.
He tells me; I am a bottle of divine
When drinking from my lips, his wicker skin, pleasing to me.
His lips soft as dreads stroke me.
His body thick as molasses, sweet in my mouth
Lying on top of him is my satisfaction.
He loves me, he cares
He knows my insecurities, my flaws
He doesn’t mind them at all.
For I am his oxygen.
He sees me for who I am and acknowledges my honest sense of not being perfect.
I am to him, perfect in his eyes.
He is the only positive in all of my negatives.
He loves me, he cares, and he knows my insecurities, my flaws.
He doesn’t mind them at all.

I’ll count the days…

This phrase was originally written to my mother. We were in cahoots about me leaving for school. She didn’t want me to leave as soon as I did, but hey I had to do what I had to do. I wanted her to know that I would always be thinking of her. Then it fused into a love poem.

I had been with my first love for years; however, our relationship was ending. Though I loved him, I had to leave, but I always anticipated on seeing him again.

I’ll count the days

I’ll count the hours.
I’ll count the minutes.
I’ll count the seconds, until I’m in your arms again.
This sweet sensation that flows through my bones sends vibrations that penetrate my soul.
There is no other love better than yours.
There is no kiss sweeter than yours.
The warm touch of your lips fills me with joy.
I won’t close my eyes, I won’t even blink.
My heart can’t take one second of darkness, fearing that I might miss your face.
And so when we say goodbye.
I’ll count the days.
I’ll count the hours.
I’ll the minutes.
I’ll count the seconds, until I’m in your arms again.

In this Divine moment

It was an early Saturday when the threshold of morning crept into my window.
The sun rays danced upon my sleeping face awakening me.
Because, I always end up; waking up on my back.
I flung my body to the left and began stroking my pillow case; as if it were my lover’s face.
With my voice coarse and thick I whisper to my make believe man,
“Good morning dear husband of mine.”
I then close my eyes and pretend to sleep, my mind wonders creating a world internally.
Hum…I’ll call him,
“Baby.”
He then appears rapping at my door, it open automatically with no force.
He walks in looking dark and lovely kinda husky,
But thick were it matters, his eyes brown like autumn leaves.
His smile refreshing as a cool breeze.
I adore his anatomy; my volition to endure him consumes him.
He raps his arms around my body he plugs into my socket,
My limbs close upon him like a locket.
As our spirits mix our synergy creates an effect greater than a Sunomie.
Yes Baby is all that I need. This clandestine love must be kept, between us two.
With my arms stretched to the heavens my soliloquy reminiscent of a skipping record, “Baby…Baby keep me on your mind because I’m in love with you,
Boy and this heart never lie.
Baby…Baby…Baby trust in
