I went for a walk if he asks for me," he explained seriously and smiled again. Again the warrior nodded, she stepped back a few steps and said, "I will. Good luck." Poison nodded his thanks to her and hurried as fast as he could along the path to the big door. He looked around, made sure no one had followed him, and opened the big entrance gate, stepped outside and quietly closed the big door behind him. He could feel the cold night air comfortably caressing his face as he turned around. "Please gods help me," whispered the summoner who grabbed one of the tethered horses and rode along the forest path. A thousand thoughts flashed through his mind. Was it right to leave now? Was it right to look for answers now? He did not know how to answer these questions. He pulled the reins, stopped and sighed. Of course it was not right. What if his actions were to ignite a war? Annoyed, he scratched his head. He could not return now, he had already ridden too far. He had been so absorbed in his thoughts that he had not noticed. To return now would have been stupid, then the whole ride would have been in vain. After all, he wanted answers to his questions and only one person can give them to him. "Tell me where are you going uncle?", a young curious girl's voice asked. The gentleman flinched when he turned around and saw Zorena's daughter Zynoa. "I could ask you the same question," the summoner replied sharply and the girl sighed in disappointment. "I was practicing because I couldn't sleep. Can I come with you?" she asked excitedly, folded her hands and looked at Poison pleadingly. Her long blades crossed each other as she folded her hands and Poison smiled at first, but then anger overcame him. He sighed annoyed, wanted to yell at her and tell her to return to the Alliance where it was safe but if he did, Zynoa would tell on him to Suzuki. "Fine," he answered her question monotonously, got off his horse and helped the little one onto the horse. When he was back on the horse himself, he cursed in silence. What in the name of the gods was that about? Has he gone mad? He takes a child with him to an enemy alliance? He shook his head briefly to order his thoughts, looked behind him at Zynoa and said strictly: "You do what I say, understand? Otherwise you can go straight home." Zynoa smiled, she clicked on the crystal of her weapon, immediately the blades went back into the case, then she put her hands around Poison's belly to hold on to him and answered happily: "Yes, uncle. Promised ." A bigger smile appeared on her face and the subscriber to the Alliance cursed in her thoughts. He was crazy clear. But he could not leave her alone now either. So he took the reins again and drove the horse to ride on. Chapter. 4.

"Did you tell mom and dad?" Zynoa asked and looked curiously at Poison. He sighed and answered with a counter-question: "Do you know what happened to your parents?" Zynoa shook her head in denial. The summoner looked briefly at the girl. He could see fear in her eyes. "Some enemies attacked your mother. She's badly hurt and I want to know why," the adult explained and steered the horse to the right along the gravel path surrounded by green trees, like an avenue. He could hear Zynoa shivering and gasping for air. "That's why father was so angry. I met him shortly before and wanted to ask him to play with me. He was pretty angry and that's why I went outside to practice. Because I was sad that he was so angry," Zynoa spoke softly, put her head on Poison's back and sighed sadly. "Is mother feeling better now?" she asked in a sad voice and looked down while the summoner swallowed heavily. He had seen how badly wounded his vice-leader had been. He had even thought she would not survive. But Zorena fought through surprisingly well, most likely because her magical being transferred her life force when she fainted. "She is doing as well as can be expected. Without her phoenix she would not be alive anymore," Poison reluctantly explained after his thought process and the little girl trembled even more at his words. She gasped loudly for breath and the man was sorry to have told the little girl the truth. "Listen, whoever it was. I will see to it that the guilty ones are punished. I promise", he tried to calm her down and apparently it had an effect. The little girl sniffed, took her hands off Poison and the adult looked at her again briefly. Quickly Zynoa wiped away the tears rolling from her eyes and spoke in a strong, serious voice: "They will pay for this." Poison nodded approvingly, turned back the way and drove the horse faster. Again, Zynoa held on to him and thanked the summoner for being honest with her. For a while, they rode silently straight along the tree avenue until after a while they reached a large lake by the path. "Do you see the big silver house?" he asked quietly and stopped in front of the lake. He raised his hand and pointed to the house that was on a small island opposite the lake. Zynoa nodded as she followed the man's gaze. "This is the Synergy camp. Recently, Ely, the leader, declared war on us. I can well imagine that she is responsible for Zorena's condition," Poison explained his suspicion and looked at Zynoa, who could not take her eyes off the house. "If it was Ellie, she will feel my vengeance," Zynoa said and jumped off the horse. Poison also dismounted and followed Zynoa who continued along the path and could not take her eyes off the house. "Zynoa," he called and grabbed the girl by the arm. She looked up in surprise and wanted to break free, but she paused. "We are not here for revenge. We don't even know if it was them," the summoner warned seriously, wanted to catch his breath and say something else but Zynoa interrupted him angrily: "If it was them, I'm not holding back! I didn't train for months for nothing!" The summoner rolled his eyes as Zynoa broke free, turned around and walked towards the forest path. "Where are you going?" he asked annoyed, but the girl did not rule and the man followed her angrily along the forest path. "Children," he cursed annoyed and fought his way through the bushes to Zynoa, who was waiting in front of a rock face and stroked her white hair back. "Here is a shortcut. The path leads under the lake directly to her camp," explained Zynoa and scanned the moss-covered rock face.

Stunned, Poison watched the little student smile as she continued to search the rock. She enjoyed once more to know more than the experienced fighters, especially to know more than the subscribers. At some point she stopped knocking gently at one point and pressed against the rock as hard as she could. A small button pressed itself into the rock and after a while she let go of the spot, moved back a little and the wall started to shake. Four silver curved leaf ornaments wandered from the moss further up the rock until they met in the middle. Tense, Zynoa looked at Poison, who watched the rock in bewilderment. In the middle, where the ornaments met, a small circular plate turned as fast as it could. The rock-wall like camouflage became weaker and weaker and a blue shimmering sapphire appeared. Again the rock wall shook and it opened to the right by itself, giving access to a dark cave entrance. "Come," cried Zynoa and ran ahead into the darkness of the cave. Again, the wall started to shake strongly and Poison saw the black rock wall moving back again. Quickly, the summoner also ran into the cave and looked back behind him. He could still see the moonlight, but it disappeared as soon as the wall closed completely. "Zynoa," he called through the dark cave and snapped his fingers briefly. A blue magic wave appeared in his right hand, which danced wildly around and gave light to the dark black rock passage. Smiling, Zynoa waited a bit away and looked at the man coming towards her. "How do you know about this cave," he asked curiously as he walked towards Zynoa and the young blood master looked down as she hesitantly explained: "Remember when Legends attacked us? Mother sent me and Cyson away with Lilith." Poison nodded he remembered the fire in the camp, his people and friends like them were fighting too. Especially he could remember how his brother died at the hands of a legend. They would pay for it, he knew that. He had sworn to eradicate Legends if it was the last thing he would do. No matter by what means. After a while he nodded, shook off his thoughts and looked at Zynoa again. "This is how we found the cave," Zynoa ended and looked up at Poison. The subscriber smiled and concentrated on the girl, bowed his head briefly, looked at the little one again and praised her while crossing his arms and the ball of light floated between him and Zynoa: "Not bad. Now come. You said the tunnel leads directly into her camp, right? Then we should hurry and not lose any time." Zynoa nodded excitedly and hurried after Poison who let his sphere of light float ahead to light their way.

Nemesy sighed, she wanted to see Lucian again to make sure he was okay. Slowly Nemesy opened the door to the infirmary and looked into the snow-white infirmary. Her gaze remained fixed on Zorena's bed. The injured woman was breathing heavily and Lucian was sitting next to her on a brown chair. He held Zorena's hand firmly and had tilted his head towards Zorena. "Lucian, you should get some rest after all. I can stay with Zorena if you want me to," Nemesy said and approached her comrade who slowly shook his head in denial. "But you need rest. There's no point in staying awake all the time," Nemesy tried to calm him down. When she reached him, she wanted to stroke the black-haired man's shoulder, but she paused when Lucian asked her monotonously without looking up at his warrior: "Where is Poison?" Nemesy swallowed in his tone of voice before answering, took a deep breath, bowed her hand and looked at Zorena. Her body was adorned with white bandages, a small bandage was stuck across her forehead: "He is on his way. He will surely be back soon." Lucian nodded weakly but Nemesy could feel a dark dark force around him, almost like an angry demon ready to take revenge. She knew Lucian loved Zorena more than anything and he would even go to the gods' hell dungeons for his beloved. "You really should rest. There are enough beds here. You can still be with
